The ppm meter should be here in a day or two. I had a Hydro grow that I was unprepared for and had to transplant that baby to soil to save it.
I didn't know about the 20% runoff thing. I watered until a little came out the bottom.
My usual routine is follow the GO feeding chart and water until I see the first run off.
It says no pHing needed but I adjust the pH anyways. I do use the full line of General Organics nutes.
The soil is a mix of promix, sheep manure, perlite and vermiculite but I think my next plants will get that plus either (dolomitic lime?) or oyster shell powder. I really don't want to have any CaMg issues for the next run.
