Is this a Banana growing out of my Flower??????

I took my WW out of the bucket to water today and it appears I have a Banana. I checked over all the buds and found a total of two. I pulled them off with tweezers. It’s day 56 of flower. I took the picture with cell phone flash.

That’s what I figured. What’s the correct course of action? Just keep pulling them off when I see them?
