Are my buds rotten?

Hi all.

These attached photos are my recently-harvested strawberry cough nugs under a microscope. Some of the trichomes are melted together in a putrid green/dark green/brown mush. I was thinking best case scenario, it is trichome over-maturation. Is this rot?? Are they safe?

You can tell by smell and feel. Hard to tell from pics.

Any bud rot I've ever seen looks like cobwebs inside the bud. I don’t exactly see that in your pictures.

What about the dark mucky green color in my buds? Does that look okay/normal?

I can’t see anything from the pictures you’ve posted.

Cut it out then it doesn’t look to saturate the whole bud. I’m pretty sure you got some amazing bud there with grey green goo.
