Running 1000 watt mh with 1000 watt hps

I was growning with leds then I switched it out for hids. Im Much Much happier with just the hps alone. It's my 2nd grow I'm all about the plants putting on sunscreen and reducing stretch. I'm up for sacrificing quantity over quantity tho. Will it make the weed foxtail?

Need to know everything about your grow environment.

I'm tired of typing out the list of stuff we usually ask for, so I'll let others ask for it.

I have 62 inches floor to ceiling, air temp is 87 about 8 x8 feet temp with one light is around 79. I have air intake and exhaust I'm running 2 1000 watt ballast one hps one mh. They are out side the room to reduce heat and running on 240 volt. I'm using flora sun bulbs and light energ magnetic switchable ballast.

Soil or Hydro? Nutrients you're using? foxtailing is usually from high heat or high light stress(light too close)

If it gets too hot or the buds too close to the light they will foxtail this is not due to the lights being hid it is just temperature and light stress, also some strains will foxtail no matter what you do

I'm using soil, and GP nutes, I just wanted too see if anyone uses mh in flower. I just bought the full spectrum mh bulbs. I'm gonna use hps and reg mh for 6 weeks then swap out hps and reg mh for the mh full spectrums.

I flowered with a 600 watt mh one time with good results. The nugs were nice and hard and the trich production was better than hps but I did lose some yield.

I'll absolutely lose yeild for better quality bud. I have a 1000 mh going and a 1000 hps, so it's the best of both worlds

Having a 315 cmh to toss in the mix is fun also.

I was thinking cmh, but the wattage is too low. But they do have a good usable spectrum. Over all I'm looking at blue spectrum mh bulbs or full spectrum. There's a little color bar on the box and these bulbs in particular are the ones I'm out to test
