How long do you guys/gals veg photos?

Just wondering how long all of you fine folks let your photos veg before flipping. Doesn't seem to be a post specifically about this topic so thought I'd try to get a discussion going. Have a great day and happy growing.
 
from my understanding flipping is usually dependent on how much space you think you will have. plants double in size sometimes during flip (stretch) so if at veg they reach half the height at what you want them to be at flower then thats when you flip. but as far as time it usually 4 weeks or so unless you wanna make a monster plant or a mother you can veg as long as you want

That's also my understanding. Strain dependent of course. Just was looking for replies. Been LST'ing my girls since like week 3 trying to fill a scrog in a 3x3x6. Just impatiently waiting for that full canopy lol

Holy cow those look awesome! I may rethink giving mine another two weeks and flip them in a week. Thanks for the response!

Mine are all from bagseed so no clue how they are gonna stretch. Wanna get my skills dialed in before I commit to spending $100+ on brand name seeds. Positive tho, they are all showing that they are female so pretty excited about my luck with them.

Watch for herms. Many fantastic breeders out there sell seeds at a very reasonable price. Useful and Briscoe's come to mind. No experience with Esos seeds, but for the price, and the pics on his page, I can't wait to run some. Didn't mean to derail your thread

That is so funny you say that that's what's lighting my flower tent right now this is just the Oddball I don't have room for other than 19 watt Home Depot bulb

Stocky plants tend to yield better than long slings, i prefer to switch a little too quick than too late.

No derail at all. Thanks for the info. I did get a herm from 1 of my 2 bagseeds the first run. It was late in flower too so I'm thinking it was environmental stress (had a tornado blow thru and knock out the power for 3 days about 6 weeks in to flower). One finished with no seeds and was killer smoke (I gave samples to all my friends and they came begging for more ) but the other was subpar with a moderate amount of seeds.

Thanks for that info. I think I'm gonna give them one more week to bounce back from Mondays topping and flip. They seem to be thriving well so don't want them super out of hand

i run sog (no training and flip wher they reach 12 inches which takes 5-6 weeks. I veg with 6500k T5s so my plants stay short and bushy. but I have had some strains triple in height during flowering
