Saucer size?

Does the saucer size matter underneath your pots in an indoor grow?

I know I want them for runoff and a temporary reservoir but maybe they can be too big?

I bought some 18" saucers for my 5 gallon pots and they are pretty hilariously large.

Just gotta remember they'll eat up valuable floor space. Downsize if you need to, don't if you don't

That would work. I would go for the "deep" saucers if you can find them.

Did you buy plant risers to fit inside of the saucers? If you haven't I would highly recommend doing so! Saucer and riser combo with a 5 gallon smart pot shown. The riser and pot will fit a 10 if not 15 gallon smart pot.
