OVERNIGHT GROWTH SPURT AFTER WEATHER MADNESS
After reports of lightning, high winds, heavy rains and hail scattered throughout the state, flowering has begun to kick off in the outdoor grows. T
he last of the outdoor males begin to show their sad news and separation from the girls hopefully left most of us with a full garden. I count myself lucky to have ended up with 12 on the button, a gift from Mother Nature who always seems to know best. I almost wanted to save 1 male at the far edge of the property to harvest some pollen and do some breeding, but it wasn't to be. I thought I had two more males but they ended up showing just last week.
A growth spurt, in my experience, happens a few times throughout the course of the season. There were several reports that flowering occurred late this year, two to three weeks later in some cases. This led to the question of a later harvest, however, I believe that these things balance out and the harvest will probably be as usual around mid to late October. Last year, I made a poor decision by identifying milky and amber trikes not on the calyx, but on the bud itself, leading me to think my plants were finished way too early when they could have gone another two weeks at least. It wasn't a complete disaster, but a lesson learned. It was the first time I had used a 'dope scope' instead of using my usual technique of eyeballing the buds which worked for me for many years.
So what I am going to do, is juice these babies with Bloom Booster, which is high in Potassium, in an attempt to take advantage of this growth spike, and I shall come back and report the results in a few days or a week.
If anyone else notices this bloom boom, please let me know. I am working on keeping more detailed records for the area to help others and myself stay on top of growing cycles and techniques.
Have a great day!

Wow, these look great! Do you top them when their young?, and what you using for nutes, if I may ask?
I'm a first time grower so I tried to keep things simple. I did top all plants twice except Mataro Blue (4th pic), only topped the main stem.
Watering twice a week with Thrive.N (15-0-0) water-soluble nitrogen ... started @20% when plants were small. Use recycle-Sil Natural Silica once per week and every 2 weeks I add BioAg TM-7 (humic and fulvic acids, plus 7 Micronutrients required for plant growth). Epsom Salt as needed and top dress once a month with oyster shell flour and Coast of Maine lobster compost.

Started using build-a-bloom (2-10-5) for flowering first week of August.

Below: side by side Dinafem OG Kush’s: fuel & lemons! I hear that even though this isn’t “real OG Kush” that this is top-shelf stuff. It’s a Lemon Thai x Chem and I can definitely see the Lemon Thai in it.

Below right: Another SFV bagseed; this one is a tall, lanky Sativa very cedar woody(?) smell?? Hard to describe. I wish I knew what this stuff really was.

Early SFV below, right hand side. To left and behind of SFV is the lone TNR. It’s about 7.5- 8ft and hard to describe how it smells def get a spicy creamy spearmint vibe from her, must be the Thai in it?
The two left plants in foreground and the one along fence are my white widows; will be staking and tying everything soon in anticipation of weight

FYI: All my girls are ‘au-naturale’ no topping of any kind; my friends have had more success this way in the past outdoors vs. mold so I figured I’d try it.

Thanks for the second opinion I appreciate it. This being my first year I'm still second guessing anything I do.
Your grow looks great in my opinion.

I gotta say that I still have to pinch myself sometimes that it’s legal to grow here; where I come from in the south this would never be possible. In retrospect, it all seems so silly that this would be illegal in the first place.

I finally got around to taking a picture of all my plants. I started very late didn't plan on growing. Started them inside in one gallon pots under a light for about four weeks. Transplanted them into 12 gallon pots brought them outside the beginning of July. Now all but one are in 25 gallon grow bags.
