Transplanted Clones - Yellowing and Brown Spots

Hey all. Transplanted 5 rooted cuttings into soil this past Thursday. So far three are showing signs of yellowing and a bit of brown spotting. Two others are a bit droopy from transplant shock. Dark purple stems on most. Mostly concerned for the three discolored ones. I'm guessing it's some kind of deficiency but can't pinpoint since soil should be good for next month of vegging. More info below. Luckily, still have three additional cuttings still rooting in my dome.

Really appreciate any advice/tips in advanced. Be well!

  • Medium: FF Ocean Forest (soaked thoroughly Wednesday evening - haven't watered since)
  • Container: 1 gal fabric pots
  • Cloning medium: Rapid Rooters (sprouted within 12 days)
  • Light: 125w LED QB (2ft away from canopy)
  • Temp: 78-80
  • Humidity: 50-60%

You’re ok. Gonna take a little time for the plants to start utilizing the Nutes in the soil. Soil with nutrients arent as readily/quickly available to the plant as bottle feeding. Just be patient, you’re good.

thanks for the reply. Another forum recommended watering a bit as clones like moist soil. Going to see if a bit helps.

Unfortunately watering isn’t gonna fix or stop the yellowing, the plant eating will. The worst thing you can do is over water. The point is to let the roots search for moisture, not constantly be in it. This is what promotes growth.

great point. I was told clones like moist soil. Watered them a bit and they seem fine after a couple hours. I’ll let it dry out a bit between next watering.

That is true when trying to get them to root. But once they’re rooted they are mature enough to be treated like at vegging plant.
