Apologies in advance

or is there a way I could loop the exhaust back into the tent? Or does this have to be a fan taking air out, a fan bringing air in, and fans near the canopy?
Looping the air back in would be pointless. The only fan you need for a tent is the one pulling hot air from the top of the tent.

A circulation fan blowing on the plants is nice but don't overdo it or you'll risk wind burn.

Would it be better to mount the exhaust fan inside the tent? or outside?
I Mount the exhaust fan outside the tent. If drawing through a filter, obviously that goes inside.

The air coming out of a fan is hotter because of compression heating so it's best not to have that in the tent.

Doesnt matter how much heat it puts off if its in the the tent... its pushing all the heat out. Which is negligible anyway compared to the light

Most of the gaps are filled in. just a few more questions as far as double checking lights and the fan. the fan will most likely be AC infinity the 8 inch Cloudline series along with a carbon filter. Lights are still hazy. SF4000 as the center piece of a 4x8 tent with supporting SF200 on each end maybe? Don't want to put too much in the tent. Kinda worried about how much weight it will hold. Maybe a SF 4000 with 2 of the Mars Hydro TS3000 as the supporting side lights?

If you think it doesn't matter, feel the exhaust duct. It's hot. Why would you want that in a tent you're trying to COOL?

Exactly.... the duct is filled with hot air being pushed OUT of the tent.
But if it feels hot on the outside of the duct, you're still shedding heat inside. The fan itself gets hot too.

What's wrong with keeping the exhaust fan outside of the tent? The filter can stay inside.
