Well, today i transplanted....again!! This time into four smaller seperate pots.
I did a little trimming, due to the leaves touching the light all day, but they look good.

Maybe pics, tomorrow

hey man one of those 150w hps will produce OPTIMAL (read enough for a bountiful harvest) light for up to 3 sq. ft. which is bigger than your grow area so it is plenty. it is hot though (think about 3 times hotter than what you got now) but you can deal with that with adequate ventilation and direct cooling of the bulb either with a cooltube or just really heavy ventilation!

i dont know how much vertical space you have but i wouldn't let this light get closer than 12" to the tops without a cooltube. if you don't ahve a lot of vertical space (i.e. less than 3-4 ft) just stick with the CFL's.

I decided to take out the divider in my cabinet so i can use the entire thing and give my plants more room to breathe!

I pulled the metal divider and placed the lights at the same level, painted the inside white and got rid of the paper.

I won't have any pics. untill I find my damn camera!!! Hopefully it will be soon, but I just can't remember where I put the thing......

Well guys, i'm too excited, had to tell someone. I just got back from my buddies, and the space I'm moving to for the rest of the grow, is already setup for us to use.

It has one tall closet area, with two long skinny shelf areas next to it. I need some ideas for adding more lighting to this grow.
I want to use the one tall spot for the mother eventually, but want to use it now for the babies.

Any ideas on a lighting layout, The area is 4 foot high by 2.5 feet wide, by 2.5 feet deep.
I have access to the top of all the spaces to add wiring or lighting fixtures if needed.

HELP GUYS!!!
Also, what is mylar exactly....I mean for the more real world uses, that i would ask for at the store?

Mylar is a polyester film with a metalized reflective coating. It was developed in the 1950s by DuPont, under contract by NASA, for use in the space program. Among other industrial uses, Mylar is most commonly used as a material for making balloons as well as lightweight emergency blankets often found in first-aid kits.

Rolls of Mylar, similar to rolls of wrapping paper, are sold by just about every hydroponics store for the purpose of lining walls to reflect light onto plants. Other than that, it is not readily available in stores as a consumer good. So, don't expect to be able to find it at your local WalMart. Unless you've got a local hydroponics shop near your home, you'll need to order it online.

Someone said I could get it at Home Depot?

I've never seen it at Home Depot or Lowes, but that doesn't mean they don't carry it. A search of the Home Depot website didn't return any results either. However, they could be selling it under a different name. I guess you could always go to your local Depot and spend some time scouring the isles, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm guessing you don't have a hydroponics store near your home? If that's the case I'm a bit surprised. Every city, and most suburbs, have at least one hydroponics store. You may need to order it online. If you do, I recommend HTG. They sell nice, big rolls of it and ship pretty quickly.

Actually I just found one about twenty minutes from me, i guess it's worth the drive if they have good stuff.

I took thes pics today when I got home, there is two pics. of each plant ( A top shot and side shot).
I started to bend two of them to get more light to the under leaves, and topped all four.
Two of them look nice and bushy, but two still look skinny and small.

I had a problem of the leaves hitting the lights the other day, so i trimmed off the burnt spots, flushed the soil and did my trimming, topping, and bending.

The move is hopefully in a few days so i won't post new pics untill after that, but will keep updates.

I am up to a total of 5 26 watt CFL's and am thinking of getting a 150 watt HPS to add in at the new spot.

Any ideas or suggestions that you guys have please let me know!!!:weed:

Anybody have any idea what a good price is to pay for the mylar?

I found a place that has a 50 foot roll for $35.00, is that a good price or is there cheaper?

YESS!!! Great Success......:hump:....I found the Mylar thanks to the Michaels store today.
Picked up three packs of 5 sheets that total 18sq. ft. for $3.00 a pack!!

I didn't see much else there I would use though. I'm just happy to of found the mylar.
Now the question is, Is there a special way to hang this stuff or do you put any side up and cover all walls? Also, should this stuff be on the floor of the cabinet too?
