Watering and nutrient schedule help.

So of course I’m a new guy just looking to learn. I’m running a 3x2.5x6ft tent, 1000w bloomspect LED, right now I have them in a 2:1 ratio of coco to perlite. (2/3 coco-1/3 perlite). I also have 3 part nutrients by advanced nutrients. The ph perfect line . Micro-grow-bloom. General hydro Cal-Mag. Also I have them in regular 1 gallon pots as of right now . They are at just about 7 days about soil . 2 look healthy as hell and 1 looks like he’s a little behind . His hat was still on and I had to help. Off but he’s growing fine, just looks a little behind . I’ll post a few pictures up when I can but I’m just confused on how to water and feed . I see so many mixed reviews on watering daily and feeding daily then I see water everyday but feed every other . Which is better and why? (Aren’t the best pics but I’ll get better ones later today) thanks guys

I wouldn't do anything different and if you lose that one for some reason, it's par for the course as you rarely finish with all the seeds you planted.

I’m looking more so for some sort of proven schedule people have used . It tells me daily but idk exactly . I see people say not daily and some say twice daily. But then it says water to runoff and the first couple feedings I have them I used the nutes at maybe a third strength and gave them water until runoff but I feel it was a little too much water . So I really need help on exactly how much water am I supposed to give these things ? My mix makes it pretty forgiving but I’m still not sure

U don't need to water those daily, really. Got clones going right now and they get water far less often. My flowering plants, every other day cause they drink alot. I use same medium as u in hempy buckets.

Don't feed plain water, always nutrients.

Is this hempy?

im literally looking for how much to water them . I feel like the amount of run off was too much . I seen something that said 1 quart per 1 gallon but it seemed like an overkill amount of runoff to me

None of these replies are helping me with MEASUREMENTS. I need actual measurements. How many cups of water per 1 gallon of medium . Then I’ll be able to base my nutes off of that.
ok my friend a few things
if you try to do hydroponics ( or coco, its hydro too ) you dont want to repot in big pots like that
for a plant this size 1/2 liter pot is good
the thing you need to know is when to water again after the last watering ( or transplanting)
if you just repoted then you want your coco to dry out a bit, so it becomes clearer at the top
then when the plant start to get bigger and drink everyday you can let less dryback and keep it wetter

if you water every 3/4 days in coco you will never get the benefits of coco
its normal to wait 4 days just after transplant, then the watering after 2/3 days, then 1 days 1/2, and then to water everyday

in soil you want to transplant as soon as the plant start to drink everyday or the day after, in hydro/coco its the contrary, thats the multifeeding that will give you the xplosive growth

give a big runoff when you water, more than 20 %, if you only give 20 % you risk to have salt accumulation

mp me if you need help

and try to avoid peat/coco mix for hydro, peat is underoxygeneated compared tococo ... way inferior in fact
peat is for organic

Ok I’m gonna try Th is question one more time . I kind of need help with water amounts to give them in the 1 gallon so have them in . They’re showing growth just fine but I just want to know how much water I should be giving them and how many times per week then I’ll come up with my own schedule from there. How much to give nutes . Whether it’s 1 day on one day off type of thing. Water- nutes-water-nutes-etc. or do I go days before I water. That type of thing. I see so many mixed reviews but all I see is water to 20% . Idk how much In cups or liters or whatever the amount is. I’m super confused

every watering you do in coco/ hydro must be done until runoff (drain at the bottom)
never water without runoff

that must answer your question

the right EC (ppm) depend of te base EC (hardness of your water) but if you want to make it simple always add 1.0 ms you your base water .. exemple

your water measure 0.3 ms and ph 7.8 out the tap
add nutrients until you get 1.3 ms, wait 10 minutes, then add ph down ( acid) until you fix your ph at 5.5

for 1 gallon pot you will give between 1/6 gal to 1/10 gal every watering, just to give an idea, but dont rely on these numbers

only your eye will tell you when to water, let the coco get a bit dry on the top
not dry like soil
when it gets clearer, water

then water your plants with it until the water runs at the bottom, if you are a bit broke recover this water to water again next time
give a big runoff

Do you understand now?

i don't see where the confusion is? if I tell you to water with 8 cups and the next guy says 13 cups of water, who are you going to believe? your grow is different than everybody else.
Yeah the more I’m reading up on growing in coco and all the other stuff it’s all just way too many variables to get a solid answer. I’m just gonna rock out with what I’m doing and go from there.

What might be confuse him is never straight water. So always feeding nutes. Also don’t put a small plant in a big pot. Defeats the purpose of fertilizer every day

You're making this too fucking difficult.
Just pour until your nutrient solution comes out the bottom........the amount you start with is irrelevant.
I highly suggest you take the advice in post #9.........www.cocoforcannabis.com.

Next time start in solo cups.......that way you can feed daily to run off and get faster growth..

Coco is simple.
Feed daily to run off.
Never plain water.
Never let it get dry......even on top.

7 days from sprout........fed daily to run off.

Good luck.
