Need to trim but where to start?

Sup peeps hope all is good. I’m pretty sure she needs a trim but where do I start what’s the do’s and don’ts obviously I need to leave my tops alone but should everything underneath go or? Anyways here some pics so you can get an idea of what I’m dealing with.

The only leaves id take, would be the 2-4 biggest/oldest fan leaves closest to the ground.

Now get her in a bigger pot! Lol. Seriously though, they look very nice so far, keep it up!

Nice lookin plant. I agree with Blunt. I would be transplanting before defoliation tho.

In terms of transplanting I wanna finish in a 3 gallon pot I don’t want a monster I’m probably gonna flip in 2 weeks time so would you transplant now or leave it another week?

I ask because I read a book that says with coco pot size doesn’t matter as much (within reason) as long as you can water regularly currently feeding 3 times a day.

That is true within reason, but you could be watering less and providing more air pockets for root growth which will equate to a healthier plant. 3gal total is fine though as a final vessel though.

And I'd transplant no later than 1week before you flip. Shell need that week or so the re-establish herself in her new container.

She’s too small to prune. Let her grow and prune bottoms 2 weeks into flower. You can pluck some big leaves if needed, but only to allow light and air flow. The leaves are the solar panels and over pruning will stunt the growth. But when she’s big, you want to razor all small bottom branches 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. It seems scary, but this is how you get big buds instead of a bunch of larfy bullshit. I always say you should feel bad after you bottom and that’s how you know you did it right all that lower stuff is just a prime home for bugs and mold. And when you take that at 2 weeks in, the plant can then focus more energy into producing buds
