Massachusetts and it’s today and it happens in like 4-5 days. No holes anywhere no pests idk wtf happened. It’s been getting waterd also so I know it’s not that. I think it has to do with the roots if I had to guess maybe if I dig it up and transplant it maybe it Will survive.???
I’d say it’s either burnt or has root aphids/soil knats or some other root condition. When you pull it it will prob have a weak rootball. Mine as well pull it, it’s done.
This cold overnight will hasten the buds fattening up. As long as you can keep the budrot at bay you are fine. This cold dry weather is the best we could hope for.

No, sadly it probably won't survive too long if you transplant it in that condition.. looks like you've got other plants, I'd say pull these, in case it spreads, also you have other plants. Could be it's just end of life cycle. I have one that's doing similar, will send pics today, leaves are all turning yellow and it looks like just end if life cycle, even though there's not much bud on the plant. Just one of them things, bro.
Frost? I'm in western mass, you must be way up in the berkshires or something? No frost here. However, seems early, as long as it's not a Hard Frost, you should be ok. Old farmers trick, water. Not warm water, that's bad, just water, something about the slow drainage, I don't know. Guess that's why it's a trick.
Worth a shot if the frost us truly a hard frost. Plants can survive up to 3 maybe 4 light frosts.... Hopefully your overreacting. What's the temp supposed to be?

its Not super cold here but I’ve noticed the plants seem to be slowing down a bit. I’m about 4 weeks behind what I was last year. I’ll be nearly into November by the time I finish so I’m just trying to think ahead. Not worried so much about right now
Yes, just don't let the sheet touch the plant to much. You need to keep the dew off. When the temp drops the moisture forms dew then freezes.
fans brother, use fans ... it's not the cold that'll get em, it's the combination of cold and wet ... if you can keep the air moving over them on cold nights they'll have no problem ... if you try to enclose them without a ton of ventilation and air movement, you'll have an enclosed space that's warmer than the outside air ... a shit load of condensation will form and drip down onto the plants, and you'll end up with worse problems than the cold temps could ever cause
i have had fans on them consistently fortunately. Guess I’ll ride it out and see what happens
that's the best thing you can do, just keep as much air moving around them as possible ... the 10-day in our area doesn't actually look too bad for cold nights though ... I don't get worried until I see temps below 32 for a few straight hours ... one thing I change this time of year is to add a cpl fans on the sides of the greenhouse blowing straight up and around the interior roof line to keep air moving all along the plastic,it keeps any condensation from forming ... I use a greenhouse film with anti-condensation, which works incredibly well most of the year, but when outside temps drop really low condensation can still form
