Think I caught the culprit. Help identifying it?

Guys

I’ve been doing some heavy defoliation, topping, and LSTing. I noticed what appeared to be pest-related leaf damage (holes, tips chewed off, etc.) But for a few days, I couldn’t find anything...so I thought maybe the supercropping efforts were causing the damage. Seemed far fetched... but I had nothing else to go on. Tonight, I found this guy. Only one, but where there is 1, I assume there can be trillions roaming around.

can you guys identify this fuck? Also, what can I do to rid my garden of these assholes? I’m in veg and they’re looking super healthy other than this.

Organic soil. 4 weeks into veg. 640w PLC lm301b LEDs. Good air flow. 75 F and about 50% RH.

Im going to answer my own question. It looks like a fungus gnat, but I have symptoms of snails or slugs, I think.

Neem oil, diatomaceous, yellow sticky cards, and let them dry out a bit more before watering to prevent fungus gnat larvae sound like a good plan? And maybe a beer/sugar water trap for the slugs? Gross...I’m also going to scrub the entire grow area with food grade HP diluted to 3%. It isn’t really dirty in there to begin with, but couldn’t hurt to give it a deep clean anyhow.

How big is it? Sure doesn't look like any gnat to me

Really tiny. The picture was taken with a cheap microscope I use to check trichs.
Maybe it is a gnat then but they don't chew leaves as I have plenty on my plants, they lay eggs and have larvae in the soil and fly intoyour face when you are watching netflix

Yeah I think I have some kind of slug, snail, caterpillar in there doing the leaf damage. I have yet to find them though. Should be fun...
