Is it possible?

Ok so I've been wondering the whole time I've been growing my plants. The "secondary shoots", or the branches that grow between the nodes. Can you top those with the same results as topping the main stem? Or would it just halt the growth of that particular shoot? I was very curious and went ahead and did it, maybe 2 or 3 days ago. Just wondering if I should just go ahead and cut it off or can i expect any growth coming from it within the next few days

You could prune and prune until you have a round bush with many heads if you have the time to veg of course

That's mainly what I've been doing with this particular plant. I was just wanting to experiment a little and top one of the secondary shoots like I did with the main stem. I don't think the secondary that I topped will do anything though, I don't see why it would. Or would it?

If they have two growth tips where you cut it, I don't see why not
