Thief protection

Hi guys,

I got this nice blue dream 1 pound plant that got stollen by a filthy thief. I am growing in my backyard. I am planning on continue growing there next year because I have no plan to move. Any suggestion on how to prevent this thief from stolen my plants next year?

Build a cage around it. Dog run style then wire that sucker up with something along the lines of a electric fence. Don't think anyone who gets shocked is gonna stick around and try to steal the plants afterwards.

Electric fences are pretty common here for livestock, I think you'd probably have to have some animals in your plot/fenced area to have that plausible deniability of only using the fence for coyotes/fishers/etc.

Happened to me last year. This year we have a 4 camera wireless security system plus 3 motion detectors. Nobody can walk into my yard without me getting a notification on my phone. This year I've been staying up at night and I watch them periodically through the cameras I have set up. I don't trust myself waking up to a notification sound so I'm roughing it for a few weeks. If someone gets close to my plants there are flashing lights and a siren sound so I highly doubt they will stick around to chop plants...but if they do they'll find out what bear spray tastes like. After I'm done growing outdoors for the year the cameras go back to their spots around the house for the rest of the year, lowers insurance costs too.

Too bad man. California really got crazy with the laws, besides weed, lol. I lived in in Truckee for like 6 years snowboarding. Now I'm in CO and they're not as crazy. I have no problem ordering it here if I wanted to. I like my freedom.
