So Ive been watching and reading up on bud washing? Seems kinda counterproductive...mold..etc but is it really necessary if you are doing indoors? I'd assume not since no bugs.. dirt etc...what's your guy's take on this?

I’ve never done it, but I’m thinking about trying it. Do you have pets? Their fur floats everywhere. Or just think how much dust settles on shit around your house in 4 or 5 months. I don’t think it’s a horrible idea.

Nah I don't have any pets and the house stays relatively clean.. idk I just wouldn't want to mess anything up and all my work goes down the drain. I suppose I could sacrifice some and see the difference. Does it help in quality.. as in improving the flavour?

I have only done it with outdoor plants, but ill tell you it really does get all the nasty stuff you dont want to smoke out of the buds
Drying is my concern. I have dropped buds in water by accident lol and let them dry they seem fine but "different"

I just did some outdoor, I was thinking of taking a picture of the first bucket but it was too gross. I have some indoor sitting here, never thought to wash it. I vape so I don't see too much big crap getting breathed in. Anything else is probably no different that what I breath regularly. Well maybe the aphids.

Vape-broiled aphids have this delicate mango butterscotch note

I always wash my outdoor plants, but with super-cold ice water and collect all the trichomes in various micron sized bags. lol

Hey I suppose that works for potentially dirty bud too.

I've only washed some of my outdoor flower, simply to remove crusted dirt from the plant.
A good dunk in a bucket of cold water to dislodge the funk and dry as normal.
