But I do like hlg because of the efficiency of the lights. I have a qb120 and qb288R. Guys with mars hydro do some great stuff but they only offer one type of spectrum.

Can you answer me this, are pictures truly safe to post on this site? or do I have to go through and edit them for geotags or whatever?

Mh, and hps are the best way to go if you got the space..im a closet grow, and use a sf2000 3 autos and don't have to worry about cooling, have a smalle 6inch fan(on low) and a inline 6 inch (in half power) and temp never get above 30° light also has a dimmer for plant stages..no complaints

This site does not scrub last I heard, clean them yourself if it’s a concern.

You mean meta tags, but this site removes them from posts. Better yet, just turn off location services for your camera.

My bad, i though Sunni said they were working on a cleaner but it wasn’t used yet. I could of been high and looking at a post from 8 years ago too

Edit.. looks like @CannaOnerStar tested it and mentioned the metadata is scrubbed on upload.

Found it, but this was in May, canna tested it in aug.

at this time RIU does NOT strip metadata and all users should strip it prior to posting here , in the support forum i have a pinned thread called " security smarts etc" and itll give alink to strip it

Did you get shocked by your mars hydro or something? I have the mars hydro 600w. Never shocked me not even once. Just wondering ive seen you say this before and i went and touched my light to see if its true... nothing happened, if that did happen you id het with mars hydro i bet they'd make it right with you... goodluck

Feel like I'm gonna have to defend myself here but I went with the mars hydro. I have two already so I know they work and I had to make a decision fast. I know the quality isn't exactly there but its just a veg light and ill be upgrading again in a couple months.

Nope, just see that they are listed as using the same diodes and drivers....

That's not a good example of a light. That light is not 1000 watts and does not replace a 600 watt HPS like they claim. You need at least 3 - 4 of those lights to replace a 600 watt HPS. It's not a recommended brand. You need to upgrade your lighting so you actually fill your tent up with buds. That light is good for 1 maybe 2 plants or else you end up with those spindly plants you have. Don't take offense. I'm trying to help you improve your grow. More light. And don't believe the marketing nonsense that says a 180 watt light replaces 600 watts of HID.

This is under a 600 watt HPS. See the difference?
