DJ Short original Blueberry F5

I will try the bb dj short regular too i started 9 seeds!for now, iam running humboldt bb muffin fem week 5 and its GREAT! all phenos smells like bb but no bb in the genetic its seems to be razzleberry x purple party panter

The more the merrier! I ended up with 5 females which have all now started on 12/12. If this is the original blueberry, one of us should end up with some sweet sweet blueberry muffin goodness.... right? Lol
 
3 of the 5 females have started to flower. There isn’t much going on yet but wanted to at least show them. All healthy and happy so far.

Supposedly this is Blueberry. So far only a mild blueberry scent, actually reminds me more of the old FruityJuice than Blueberry.

I will update with where I sourced the beans from, IF I'm happy with the final result. So far, I'm not. I grew the real Blueberry a decade ago, the only thing I remember this one resembling that old strain is that she's a bit picky when it comes to feeding. Fingers crossed and I found something.

Cool, definitely keep us posted. As I said earlier I’ve been hunting for many years since losing the pheno I had in the 90’s. If after doing away with half the strains he used to sell, marketing a new berry and an original blueberry at the same time these don’t turn out to be the original as stated, I’m definitely done with DJ Short. I’m trying to keep an open mind but I’ve grown out several packs of his newer packs of blueberry and none have been anything like the old one. Even taking the extreme variation into consideration, it was not even close to this difficult to find a pheno that had blueberry traits. I found phenos closer to the original in packs of Dutch Passion Blueberry that’s been inbred for years. I’m not going to get ahead of myself tho, I truly hope I’m proven wrong. That plant you’ve got there looks pretty nice so far. Looking forward to hearing how it turns out.
 
Also looking to replace my BB from a decade ago. Not quite sure who the breeder was but I got them from MSNL so I recently got another pac from them and have 3 girls about 6 wks into flower, none are the one I'm looking for I'm about to pop 3 more seeds. Did a smoke report on that Blueberry quite a long time ago, I'll see if I can dig it up. Good luck on everyones hunt!

I got a friend currently working blueberry line looking for that old old ... I'll hook you up with him HC , I'm sure he will send you some seeds mate

I would say it’s possible. Testing wasn’t as easily accessible when I grew it back in the 90’s so I can’t say for certain what the THC levels were. The pheno I had wasn’t incredibly potent but it was extremely tasty. I wouldn’t say it was a weak strain by any means but it wasn’t one of my most potent varieties.
 
Can anyone recommend a good blueberry?
I can get dj short but the price is bit exotic, are they worth the money?
Can anyone recommend another breeders blueberry or similar?

Ok the picture is a mataro blue in veg iam growing right now and yes, she is the most popular in spain since a couple years not for nothing super easy to grow,stable and blueberry muffin with a bit of afghan black domina but dont worry its more blueberry (i dont really like afghan taste in general*)
