Jacks 321 vs Masterblend/Calnit/Epsom salt analysis

It's cheaper for one, and you can tailor the ratios for each individual plant.

Agreed cheaper. Tailor as u can alter more? I add a and b half strenght throughout and add addativea as needed.

But hows the quality and yeild compared.

I dont understand not dropping n im bloom for a bloom ratio it stays the same and is premixed so how do ya adjust it?

I am tryin to convince my self agains the market liquids lol.

My bud candy nirvana and big bud are organic mixes of stuff can i still use them i like them for the extras ii know they have slight npks

Isn't the point of using Jacks, Peters, Lucas and/or Masterblend is that you use the same formula from start to finish? No charts, no ppms/ec to worry about.

Seems like some people wanna reinvent the wheel when the wheel works fine..
Peace

Absolutely... it's only one of the reasons imo though, but a very good one at that! Lol

It's nice to be able to do either. Run same, or change it up.

Greenleaf feed chart for their 2-part. (Jacks copy)

Some run Jacks 321 - start to finish with great success.

Megacrop 1part is a loser because of the calnit reacting with the other elements at the time of mixing. The white balls. Then people grind the balls, only making the precip worse. Ideally the calnit would have a delay before starting to dissolve. (balls coated with chit)

It is nice, but once you learn your plants needs, it's better to address those needs specifically. Better for the plants and the wallet! Lol

I often wonder how the Maxi series of nutes uses calcium w/o any sort of reaction..

If product has 6% potassium silicate, how much K does it has?
@Renfro @TintEastwood
Well my calculator says that one gram of potassium silicate per gallon of h2o would equate to 70 mg/l of potassium and 65.2 mg/l of silicon. So figure out how much of a gram your 6% equates to lol. I don't have specific gravity numbers on your product but you could always go by mass. If I am not mistaken then 1 gram per gallon of your 6% sauce might be about 4.2 mg/l of K from the potassium silicate?? @TintEastwood what do you think, I am pretty baked.

Not sure. Here's what I know.
On GH ArmorSi they list it as....

Soluble Potash 6% (K2O)
Silicon dioxide 10% (Si02)

Both derived from Potassium silicate. But they do not list a Potassium Silicate percentage.

This gets into the nitty gritty.

I believe this thread has the numbers you are looking for.

Heres some notes I have. Hope it helps:

Silica
148g (Potassium Silicate) to liter water makes a 7.8% concentration.
2.5mL of concentration per gallon gives a Si ppm of 23ppm. (and 24.5ppm of K)(~48ppm SiO2)

I don't think that that is the point for nutes like Peters (or Jacks perhaps)
It would be not smart not to adjust your EC and amounts of N for example, depending on which stage your grow is.
Manufacturers who claim that you can use the same formula are misleading their customers.
Growers who maintain the same formula should be educated.
Of course you can use the same formula throughout the whole grow, but it will cost you quality and quantity.

The idea is u csn tailer a 5 12 28 and 17 28 booster with 15.0.0 cal it and make ANY nute lone u buy in the hydro store literatly we can make veg nutes we make bloom nutes we dial n back more than u can this allowing more pk when needed and maximising the npk while minimising non essensials.
Gh lucas lacks important vital elements jacks and megacrop are boss

Yes, you can argue that plants have different needs at different times. Maybe I should have been more clear. When I said Jacks/Peters I was speaking about 3-2-1 formula.

The point of formulas like 3-2-1(or 3.6-2.4-1.1) LucasMaxi, KISS, Masterblend etc, are you just run the same thing for ALL your plants.

As far as 'quality and quantity', you're wrong!
peace

Wrong. This thread is about 3-2-1. and masterblend and other types of start to finish

And on a side note, Greenleaf used to make a great start to finish Lucas

This is exactly the same bro its a jacks copy and masterblend copy. O ly masterblend use postassoum chloride whcih u do not want on cannabis this is tomatoe requiremwnt only so mc 2 part is closer bro. Dude was talkin about mc up there google it its identicle as he shows

Man u dont use same all thw way thru chek his charts... In experience people think that.

Their 1 part has somany problems with calnit not being seperate its not even worth mesnioning

If you think u need sme nitrogen in flower man id hate to smoke ur stuff no offence

Google is man mel frank was well off on his npk its beein talked about by loads tissue samples on icmag can confirm this
