to Iambokid you're fine. Don't rely on the runoff, even with a slurry test of a seedling. If the seedling looks good and green then you are good.

so I watered my plants earlier with a ph off 5.9 in coco and the run off is 6.6 is it ok or not its a seedling at 6 days old i havent gave any nutes or anything yet the seedling is looking OK many thanks
Sorry OP, this guy has been hijacking posts just to call people names and try to play tough. It is unfortunate you got caught up in this.

is this looking ok i know its leggy asf but size wise is it about right for 6 days in since planting seed
what light cycle are you running? i like 24/0 to keep seedlings from stretching like that.

and i'd think about feeding them too lightly.
waht nutes are you gonna use?

It's nice and green so all is good. It would have been a bit bigger if not for the stretching. If you fill the pot right to the rim it will bury some of that stem and help keep it stable until you transplant. Did you get the light issue that caused your stretching sorted out?

for the op for his page, I really do feel like 5.9 is where it's at in flower maybe even 5.8 for what I have at least but it should all be the same because you're in coco right. I've been using gh flora pack just the two of them. micro and bloom, having pretty good success with them. I wouldn't check runoff at all if u really want to know the ph of your soil it's better to invest in a good ph soil probe. Bluelab has one and then I think Apera has one. the blue lab one is cheaper I think. just have to calibrate your meters every once in a while. I have the soil meter and the truncheon. what are u also feeding ppm wise? because I feel lower is better in most situations. but once it starts getting good growth and looks deficient then u start upping feed.

I've used the entire canna lineup for a while (using AN at the moment though) and they are great products, you should be happy.

What coco are you using? Like was it brick or in a bag and was it pre-buffered etc.?

Your plant looks ok it's really hard to say other then just by telling how green it is as a seedling. Many strains start to grow a fat set of 'real' leaves, others don't. The legginess is the only issue maybe with your seedling.

All that I do with seedlings is put them under 1 x 60W CFL (I put them really close and just move the light a few times a day) and I've avoided legginess.

If you can get the product Canna Start for cheap (1L cost me like $15) that simplifies your early nutrient schedule as it's designed for seedlings and cuttings, but really you shouldnt have had to feed them any nutrients yet, seedlings have enough to get going through the first week or 2.

Oh and all of my grows have been in coco (almost always canna coco), so if you have any questions specific I am not an expert but I have gone through enough fails to hopefully prevent them for others.

I'm running 18/6 and this is what nutes ive got
what is lights off temps? i personally would either go up to 24/0 or run a heater during lights off to keep day/nite temps pretty close to the same.
i've never used Canna but i would think maybe 0.5mL of each A and B per gallon would a good light feed to start with. maybe 1mL of each depending on what EC that gives you. somewhere around 0.2 to 0.4EC should be plenty.

I've got plant magic 70/30 coco in a 50L bag
