Grow Room Theory Requires Assistance

Ok, Im a first time grower but I am not new to cultivation. I am a current mushroom grower and I now want to grow the good stuff (yes i know they are both good ;))

These are my conditions:

I live alone in a 1 bedroom apartment.
Closet is 60''x 70''
Bedroom is 123''x153''

This is the layout to it:

(the window faces the street)

My plan is to live in the living room and turn my bedroom into a grow room; however, I am encountering certain problems in the plan. Time is of the essence because the seeds are already in the mail.

Problem 1: My plan is to make the closet into the veg room and the bedroom into the flowering room. Is this too risky for an apartment? I would really like to have the ability to perpetually grow.

Problem 2: If I should go with the 2 room setup should I build a room inside of the bedroom and grow inside there so i can easily funnel fresh air into the bedroom without leaking lights into it?

Problem 3: How do I get fresh air into the house without freezing the plants (it is getting cold, thanks winter D:)

Problem 4: How do i get fresh air into the "room inside of a room" in the bedroom from the window without attracting attention?

I can see how this may seem convoluted, please feel free to ask any questions.

i would say do the closet as veg like u said then get a grow tent for like 300$ and flower ur plants in there..plus u can still sleep in ur room

how much of a factor will smell be? Of course I have airvents which are probably connected to other peoples rooms. When growing weed indoors is it possible to reduce the smell to the point where It would not be noticable. I am growing 12 arjan haze and 12 barney's farm g13 haze.

Also any other advice regarding apt growing and indoor growing will be appriciated

im growin in an apartment too. my grow space is in a baby crib in my guest bedroom on the second floor. the crib is right in front of a pretty big window. i just ordered a 600w hps that i'm hangin right over the crib and my plan is that the open window will let cool air come in and cool the hps in replacement of a cooltube or something. then fresh air can come and go in the room, and the heat from the hps will connect with the cold from outside and hopefully reach an optimum temp. my fingers are crossed. heres a flick of the setup.

I would suggest that, before you do this, to find out how often your landlord does apartment inspections.

ooook, whell i also recomend getting a grow tent or 2 for the bedroom, i would recommend ONLY looking into home box, because of previous expearence with rip off tents. * dont buy it if it is made with pvc* uuh, as for the smell look into a charcol/carbon filter. and for ducting. invest in a LOT of flex tube and some good fans togo along with the tubes and filter.
whith thease few things you can start up a good little garden in a verry small room .

look though threads or ask for links to peoples appertment grows to get some ideas
on a side note.. unless you got femanized seeds your not going to end up with 24 femail plants. so you wont need that much space.. hate to burst that bubble

good luck

wow nice setup man! thanks for the info. I wish i could do the hps thing next to the window but I couldn't let the air escape out there, i live in an apartment with lots o neighbors :/

I have asked and they have to give 24 hours notice before entering, and they dont do inspections very often from what they told me, almost never actually. I am protecting myself by getting a bolt lock on my bedroom and should they try to go in there they wont be able to without my consent, if they ever do need to go in there I will just remove as much of the setup as possible via my friends truck and some 5am moving.

Thanks for all the tips man! I appriciate it. I was just nervous about the whole 25 plants growing in an apartment and the smell it would create. Also, I did buy feminized seeds :).

If shit ever goes bad, the crib is going to look bad in reports/court/pictures. I would hurt myself racing to throw that thing away. Cops/newspapers/landlords love to get worked up over that bullshit - even if it makes no sense.

Nah, they have exceptions for emergencies. To let repair people in for critical repairs, etc. If your downstairs neighbor has water leaking from his ceiling they are busting into your place ASAP.

The problem is what is an emergency? If the landlord wants in, he can say he smelt gas outside your door and he needed to "check it out". There are very few people on earth more snoopy than landlords.

you dont need to be worryin about my landlord man. at least not more than i am. and im not worried. there is nobody above or below me. im in a two story apartment and i only have neighbors on the left and right. and i know for sure the nighbors on one side smoke, and i havent met the other side neighbors yet. but its chill as fuck man. seriously.

Well, even if they violate the 24 hour notice I am bolting the bedroom door. The landlord does not care at all, its a corp and they just want their money.
