Possible problem..

My buddy who gave me a clone. Which has now been in flower since 10/30. Msgd me last night to warn me it might have russet mites.
My 2 plants have got plenty of flowers starting, and i have no idea what to look for to see if its infected also.
He gave some other ppl clones and it ruined 30k worth of a growers plants.
From what ive read neem oil is bad for flowering plants.
How can i find out if i have the problem, how can i tell if its spread to my other plant, and how can i fix em if they are infected, or treat if they aren't showing signs to make sure before it does happen.
I only have 1 tent so separating them isnt a option really.
Even when i clipped off some leaves to check, i didnt see any obvious bugs under the scope, but im also not sure where to be looking for them.
Any help. Id rather not throw out the plant if its fine, but if its already infected its has most likely gotten both plants. So would need to throw out both.

If you aren't seeing any mites under the scope, and your plant is growing normally you might be ok. Are the edges of your leaves curling up? Do your leaves look glossy, have blisters or little white spots?

I pulled the leaves that had any spots of discoloration. Under the scope they just looked like tears in the leaf. Havent seen any curling leaves yet, other then my top most cola, which i had let the coco dry out to much, so hoping was underwatered. I have a few hours before lights come on and i can check if the watering helped it out. Most of my twisted leaves or such were the ones cramped against the tent walls. But i did do a heavy defolianting. Mainly because i was a lil bit high, and guy i got clone from panicked me. So i clipped any leaf that looked wierd, so i could check it.
I found a bunch of small white jagged rock looking things(assumed was dust) plenty of white teeth looking hairs, quite a few clody white drops on top of some hairs. Things i thought looked like the pics of mites. But they never moved, so im hoping was just more dust particles.
Some of the older leaves, and small ones(barely bigger than a pencil eraser) on the underside of plant were a shiny dark green, not brittle, but more like the fake leaves of office plants texture.
Which i clipped them and the tiny buds they attached to. Weren't really growing on the underside anyways.

These were taken before i trimmed off a bunch of leaves. The twisted bent ones were either hitting the walls or other plant, or i had accidentally hit the fan blades while pulling her out of tent(forgot to shit it off before hand)
Buddy said they look ok. Which is why i was asking what i need to keep eye out for or what part of plant to watch. As well as a fix if the do show up.
Will diluted rubbing alcohol work or do i need to Amazon something else?

I can get more/better pics after lights come on tonight(bout 5hrs from now).

These look great. You may be over-reacting. I've never dealt with russet mites myself, but hypoaspis mites are predatory mites that eat other mites. You might want to look into getting some. I've seen them recommended here before. They also deal with fungus gnats, if that's an issue.

Clone was of a bubba kush he was basically letting die as he was done runnning it(got it totally dried coco medium, yellowed wilting leaves and all) pic of the clone when i got it back in October.
After zooming in it looks like the white spots on that clone are water. Did you rinse it off before taking the pic?

I gave it a misting of the advanced nutes i water them with. Figured she was that hard off to start a foliar feed would help her get back up and kickin.
Forgot i did that till i looked at picture again.

Well, it's looking like you might be able to relax a bit. I think if your plant had mites it wouldn't look that healthy. You might have lucked out and got a clean clone.
If they've already destroyed someone else's crop I would think you would already be seeing symptoms, but it's hard to be sure from pics. This link might help, tell you what to look for and where.
Keep us posted on what happens, I hope your crop is clean and you can finish flowering those girls.
