What could this be on the leaf?

I couldn't find anything like this on any other plant and I cut off the 2 leaves it was on. Could this be lady bug droppings or something?

I had a leaf get stuck to a sticky fly trap once that wound up looking something like that after I carefully peeled it off

Nothing goes in there thats why I'm confused. I found a couple of dead flies and ladybugs. I really can't imagine what else could do this. Maybe i had some sauce on my elbow when i went in there? weird
