Cloning autos?

Prepping another run of clones from ilgm blue haze/ , but they will be gone soon, unless I set up my other tent and keep 2. Either going to gift or try to keep what I can. IMG_6293.JPG

It's an auto... but I could probably root a cut off of it now.. roots in 5-6 days. They pick up right away. Faster than clones I've taken from a photo.
I would like to try it just for the sake, it's the best way to know for sure, 6/7 years ago I read they couldn't be cloned, that's clearly not true, what else isn't?
It'll be interesting to see if they'll flower at the same time or if the clone grows on for a bit after?

The plant I took the cuttings from is a SLOWWWWW grower, but is on week 2 of flowering.
The cuttings I took haven't started yet. I'll take another cut today and toss it in the dome.

I like growing autos. I know you can't really clone an auto but it's fun to see what you get from just a cutting.
I like growing. Here is what I plan to do. Start with a healthy autoflowering mother plant that has not been feminized. Select a cutting from one of the lower branches. The cutting has to be made before any flowering hormone production. The windows to cut is just hours. I am expecting this to result in a mother that has recovered fully and a clone that is smaller in size but with comparable flowers.

Looking good harvested some the other day. One more should be done in 2 months.

Good for you, thanks for the info. I'm glad you didn't listen to people saying to only do what everyone else says isn't 'right'. Growing is fun and if people didn't experiment we wouldn't have all the info we do. Looks to me like the clone produced more bud than if you had just left it on the mother - so IMO that's a successful clone, from an AUTO.
