How well will my improvised tent work.

It’ll work fine as long as temp and humidity are okay in the actual room. I built something similar for my medicinal herb garden.

Is the light the only thing controlling the heat in yours because that's all I have.Maybe I should get a humidifier.

Yeah but, the room stays around 68 degrees.

You should definitely get a little hygrometer and thermometer so you know what your grow room is sitting at. Is this out in a shed?

Yeah I will probably invest in one of them and no this is in my room, and my room is pretty cold.

Ok. Something to keep in mind is that temperature has a big effect on growth. Will weed grow in 65 degree temps, yeah, will it grow quickly, no. I put up plastic on my windows during the winter which helps tremendously with drafts and keeping the warmer air in my room where i grow. Try and find ways to insulate the improvised grow tent if you can.

How much space is there between the led and plants, are you going to run out of space in mid flower ?
