Standard ice maintains 34f. A cup of dry ice in a 2 gallon container will maintain 20F. No explosions. Units are not sealed. Over fill one once. Seen a couple idiots do it on you boob.LOL.

Water tends to freeze solid at 20F tho. For all you have you should be using a standard size wash machine to do a few lbs of trim in one go. Get a 100micron bag for a 45gal drum and pump the washer right into it. A 220 bag to catch all the bits of plant material.
I just do dry sift by hand thru a 180micron then use that to make oil with. Mixed with BHO it makes nice gummy hash that's great for hot knifing.

And a five gallon washer agitating will not freeze with a couple cups of dry ice in a cycle. Been playing with the a bag of crushed for few days. Selling everywhere for Halloween. Restaurants closed or slow. Excess carbonics this season. Usually over priced and in demand.

I only do mine for me too so can't justify spending a lot of money on gear to increase production. I have over 250g of aging kief sitting around already and 10L or so of sugar leaf building up in the freezer the wife wants me to get rid of so will be doing some sifting soon. I just wait for winter then bundle up and do it in the carport so the trichs are nice and brittle from the cold. I'm a little brittle too by the time it's done.
I think I'll just make it all into oil and then use half to isomerize and see how much different it is compared to the other. Been meaning to try that for a decade.

Spent almost 12 hours washing 12 cups of cured fluffy Snow Temple yesterday. 6 cycles. Had more heads to go. Out of energy. Bubble Magic washer and bags irritated me. Avoid this label unless handy. I'll rant if interested.

Thank you. First run after hours of reading. Even more hours trying to understand the Frenchy video Comcast will allow me to view and some cherry piking mixed with logic. Made mistakes. Lost some goods there. Washed a few grams down the drain cleaning up. I had another 3 - 4 grams of quality in 12 cups of material after 6 washes. Just old and all nighter in the cold with wet feet, hands and work area. Learned a bunch of tricks. Just ask. Next run should be smooth. Micro planing between posts. Pics soon.

Done planing, or grating in my case, easier. Just freeze overnight and use body temp to knead and re form. freeze overnight and grate again. Every time dries it out some. And being frozen avoids mold issues. Actual air drying in 5 - 7 days or more. Nature is setting the timers.
You want one of these for grating. $1 at Dollar Tree. Just freeze it before use. Rotate 90 degrees when it doesn't seem to be working well. Clean top off when you can see a small pile. And grate in a circular motion. You'll thank me for this tip.

I know we had an issue. My ignorance and stupidity. I apologize again. My bad.
No mold here. Threw and throw anything in question always. Just clean cured Snow Temple working it's way to diamonds and sauce. Hash is just a bonus.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cure times or conditions once I reach my desired level of cure. Want to get a dry old school "80's" texture. Got the terps and THC-A. Compiling, comparing and reducing methods to match my needs and situation.

What are you on about? You said you were throwing away pounds because of mold, and you wanted to make bubble hash from it, did you not? How am I somehow a drama queen by stating the obvious. You wanna smoke mold? Ok, that's your thing I guess. Maybe I misunderstood, it's possible. Pacifying my crew? I'm not sure what you mean. You seem like you're looking for a fight. Making there one where there wasn't one.

I apologize for that oversight. I did throw out live plants. Old news added to current situation. I respect and appreciate the fact finding. I stand corrected. Again. No mold or PM involved with my wash or harvest. 3 decades culling minor rot and rare PM. All properly scrutinized and washed at harvest. Slow meticulous process. I have no idea why you choose to attack my methods. I may learn something. Rather do so in a civil manner if not friendly.
