Can someone diagnose this?

Hello, I myself as a grower for 2 years can't tell what is the problem here. I also got friend that grows for 20 years but he cannot say what exactly is the problem here.
Plant seems to thrive but in my opinion it's slowed down.

The plant is SensiSeed's Skunk no#1 under 250 w SunMaster HPS bulb. ( veg and flower supported).

Distance from light is 30-31 cm.
I give her Plagron vegetation solution.
Medium: Soil

This is really a mystery to me, this kind of "twisting" leafs. It can be seen on top and little bit on lower leafs.

OK. At the moment I don't have any Ph measuring device. And almost everything going into lockdown cause of Covid it makes harder to get this device.

What should do in order to improve situation?

Get a PH test kit from a walmart (fish tank aisle) or a pet store. It won't tell you exactly what your PH is but you'll know if you're in the right range.

Pool or hot tub test kit will help until you are set as well.

If it just happened you likely watered with a different ph than before. What changed in your watering regimen? I assume you dont use ph down but have added nutes to make it that dark green. Did you add more recently?

And I’ve seen leaves twist like that from heat, or to close to the light. Don’t know if that is the issue, but throwing it out there in case you fit that description.

I also though of this cause some other plants showed signs of heat but for few days now the lamp is nowhere near close as it was ... I don't know how much is needed for recovery. Also she was topped recently but the leaf symptoms started before.


And I always water with tap water, and yeah I use fertilizer but I'm def. going to slow down.

I think my soil is above the range when it comes to acid. I did water soda bicarbonate + soil test and it bubbled up a bit.

Do you guys think I could put some bit of vingear in water when I water it next time?

You should get on eBay and buy a cheap ph monitor. I did, and don’t regret it. I was using paper strips, put like the pen much better. I use citric acid for ph down, but actual ph down is probably better. Vinegar works to.

Just be careful with home remedy style ph components..some may cause issues later.

The honest truth is you and all of us need a ph pen for these situations. Look how much stress its causing when a quick test will point you to the right place.
