Give me a second. I’ll do my best but for now here’s before I don’t have trichomes photos no way to do so those pics are a few days ago. Today was day 62 of super skunk and sour d. I inherited the plants in bad shape

Those plants don't look done bud, sorry to say. They look like they got at least a couple weeks to go. Too many white pistils standing up.

That photo was awhile ago. I scoped them all today before changing. And it’s where I like it. Cloudy a some clear and a few amber.

Fair enough, can't judge plants from old pics. Hope they turn out amazing for you, there are some nice looking colas there. I know plants have a cycle and during dark starches are moved to the roots. During the lights on period those starches move back up into the plant. Don't know that extended dark periods are useful but I know some do it. Either way it won't do any harm. As for fattening up the trichomes, I am not sure about that either. I know that some say it but I am not sure it has been proven out. You can increase trichome production with uva, you can force thc to get stronger as a defence from short bursts of uvb but just chilling the root zone with cold water, I am not sure about that one. Trichomes are produced as a defence against the sun's radiation. You know what, I am just droning on now, I could be wrong. Never type after 10 shots of whiskey and 3 joints. No matter what a this point you chopped, the colas looked nice, I hope it is the best weed ever bud.

That’s why the last 10 days I sacrifice some yield to add 600w daylight hortilux bulb. Increase in trichomes due to the ib spectrum. And yes open hood too. People always mess that up. Covering a uv bulb.

Don't know man, I don't profess to know it all. I use an HLG 600 Rspec, I have recently added a UV bar made to mount to it. I await good things. UV used in the right way can produce positive results, that I know but I have never used a hortilux bulb so won't pretend to know what it will do. If you have used one than you have more experience with it than I. Here is hoping it did great things :bigjoint:

The thing with growing. Everyone to a point is correct. It’s a weed no matter what it wants to live. Yes everyone has a method as well. I’ve practiced all sorts of ways. And sometimes yes I chop mine a bit early. Me and couch lock get a bit too paranoid these days. Lmao. I like a bit of clear left in the mix. Not too mention like I said these were inherited. I fixed and finished them for a buddy for 1/2 the harvest. I needed them out anyways so 1-3 days or even 7. At day 62 these skunk and sour d look good enough for me. I am more focused on my girls that out grew the space they were in. 13 plants in 2” net pots 27 gal res. They stayed in a bit too long. Lmao rooots everywhere

Let’s just say hortilux does it right when it comes to standardized lighting. That’s what they do and been doing for decades. But hlg. Oh yeah baby. I have the 100 for vegging clones

That's what it is all about brother, if you know what you like and it makes you happy than there is no better. I can appreciate that and my opinions are just that, opinions, I don't tell anyone what to do just as I don't let people tell me what to do. If you are happy than that's all that matters.

Well said. It’s not a competition lol. Hell I can’t even figure out what nutes I want. Lol. I had a bottle of flora nova grow and bloom. Just quart size so I started with that. Probably finish with it probably add in some aurora soul products for additives later. Was going with remo. Long story. But will the next go around
