Beginning of Week 7 Flowering - noticed White powder on sugar leaf

Thank you All for the advice, truly appreciate it. I will update you in about a week for a status update. I’ll keep checking the blog for anything new as well.

Thank you for all the help! No more signs of any PM issues, within the past eight days, so I decided to keep it on schedule for harvest.

Final watering this morning, I plan to keep it in 24-48 hours of darkness as soon as the lights go out, is this ok or should I wait another day to start the dark period?

Try adding a Silica product in your nutrient regiment. The only time I had WPM was when I received clones from outside source.

Best preventative for WPM is Potassium Silicate IMO.

Powdery Mildew for sure. I would look into Plant Therapy or Green Cleaner or a similar product. Regalia CG works great for preventing the disease but its not a curative. You have to apply Regalia CG once a week to have success on avoiding WPM.

Ok, Thank you. I will start researching Silica products for the next run.

You don't want to use silica past early bloom (stretch phase) honestly.. It will literally make your buds harder and smoke hotter. Been proven many times to reduce quality of end product. Silica obsorbs into the plant tissue really easily and flower tissue included. That means any of that sh*t you spray on your buds is going to literally soak into them and become one with the buds. Unless you wanna be blazing silica you probably should avoid it and look into fungicidal soaps, sulfur burning or a preventitive spray that you use until mid bloom such as Regalia CG. Clean all your shit with oxiclean solution in your grow and out of it. Vacuum like crazy and then clean again. Once those spores impregnate your grow facility you're basically doomed for life unless you find a resiliant strain or something. You're going to need to use a preventitive spray forever now. That has been my experience otherwise you risk taking a fat loss every grow, PM loves to show its ugly face in mid/late flower usually.

Cleaning a grow space after pm infestation is easier than people are making it out to be. Invest in an ozone generator. Run it in your space between grows. Problem solved.

Got it, thank you!

I would avoid doing the dark period before harvest, mold loved dark moist environments. I honestly never do a dark cycle before harvest just chop them down and get the next batch in the tent
Thanks Themda, Wish I would have saw this earlier.....I ended up harvesting last night about 31 hours into the dark period. At about 24hrs into the dark period, I noticed the dank smell wasn’t present at all, not sure what’s going on.....When I harvested it I didn’t trim it, just hung it whole upside down. it’s been close to 24 hours into drying now and still no smell. Has anyone experienced anything like this around harvest time?

Here’s a sample of a small Piece I took off the plant. wet trimmed it and drying in hanger.

..... Details: Fox farms ocean forest Soil, Fox farms Nitrients, PH 6.1- 6.5, Temp 73-75 degrees day time, 64-69 degrees night time. Humidity ranges from 38-45 degrees. Indoor Grow Tent......

I think your night time temps are too cold, I had PM a few years ago and it was due to cold night temps. I keep my temps no less than 72 degrees at all times.
