What's up guys. Just popped some auto beans to give me some amusement while I veg out a Orange Octane mother to propagate (fem photo).

Anyway. Got two Dark Devil seeds going and one Dosidos.

The one Dark Devil I'm growing got a sick tri leaf phyllotaxis. Should mean extra budsites of that red and purple yum yum.



What is your experience with mutations? Post ur plants here if you care to.

The tri-leaf mutation can stick around, or the plant can grow out of it.
I haven't had any, but my buddy had one. 3 leaves at node 1, 2 at node 2, 3 at 3, 2 at 4. Kept going like that. Was pretty interesting. I wish I could've seen how it would've grown, but he was doing 12/12 from seed. It flowered that way too, but there wasn't much difference overall.

That's neat. Thanks for sharing. From what I've read and seen there isn't much of a difference other than it looks really cool and in some cases if the trait sticks you'll get 1/3 more side branching. So I'm deff going to LST her heavy and see what comes from it.

I plan on making a journal this week. Was just letting them grow to be post worthy first haha. Will let you know when i do boss.

Here is my variegated Mango Kush. Not the best pics but in real life it is half one color half another. Certain leaves are even 50/50. It’s a pretty cool mutation IMO, but I’ve read that it affects yield

I’m gonna clone her before chop and do a long veg. I’ll start to post some updates

I have the same thing with my dark devils. I have 0ne 3 leaf and two regular lime colored...its interesting to watch for sure...

That's just light deprivation on parts of a leaf. The Nitrogen won't ever get used up if light doesn't hit those area's.

I've had it a couple of times when i was doing ch9 super haze.they both grew out of it after 2nd set of leafs started

Polyploid. I had a Blueberry do that about ten years ago. Stem grew flat with more nodes than I've ever saw.

I wish I could preserve the trait but Im not sure how to go about it with autos.
