Now, a 100w led works in the closet to keep 2 males and try to re-vegetate a LAKush. It is of the UFO type, industrial installation. They gave it to me and I'm testing it. It works very well.

Just water and humus ...

Regards to all

I would like to see that as well and Im curious of the efficiency. Make sure when you put it together it has plenty of cooling because heat is the robber of LED efficiency.

Gotcha. I didn't know that. Why does it affect efficiency? They have a nice heat sink already built in. I'll be the guinea pig.

As LEDs heat up they actually produce less light based on the energy consumed. I dont know the particular temperatures but after you get pass around 50C you start getting to the upper limit of ideal.

Over here we are entering summer and now at 11:20 am the temperature inside the cabinet is 32.6 ° C. Led 100w. switched on. In winter, it had temperatures of 27 ° C with 100w and 150w on.

With better ventilation, food and time conditions, interesting things can be done.

I look forward to that project norcalreppin77 !!

Makes sense. My maxisun 4000pb get hot. I point a fan at them and they stay cool. I'd do the same with the flood lights they got a nice heat sink though. Need to run it for a while and see how hot it gets

I have used humus for years for the vegetative without having to fertilize with minerals from the market ... for the flowering I use Advanced Nutrients ... it is the best! ... Good job !!

In Chile, we are going through a social revolution right now. When all this is over, come see my country, very beautiful.
Los Andes bro !

These are the final results, after going through 150w led

I try to get some air flow on all of my lights as its helps keep temperatures even in my grow area. Im not trying to knock your light, god knows i love some inexpensive lights, but that heat that it puts off is actually a result of inefficiency. If any new
