i totally would but in all honesty i dont have the extra cash for it right now...is ocean forest organic? cuz the soil i have now is all organic...im trying to keep it as organic as possible...but i decided to go with the tiger bloom because people have had really good results...and while its not wholly organic it is supposed to be organic based...so we'll see...i guess i'll just wait it out...they are growing...just not very quickly...but i can be pretty patient and they look good otherwise...the leaves are looking so wicked! lol

fox farms products are *mostly* organic
im pretty sure the soil's ferts are all organic from worm castings and stuff
id dump your soil, it doesnt look like it lets enough oxygen to the plant which is causing discoloration and slow growth in root and plant

if your going to use what your using at least add abunch of EDIT: perlite...

cool...thanks for the advice guys...i actually just came up from my grow room...and overnight they've actually started to gain some height and the leaves are starting to branch out more...theres one little plant thats looking a bit small and deformed...but i wanna give it an honest chance before i get rid of it...i think they're gonna start to show sex soon...i really dont think its gonna take 4-6 weeks. i was taking a look today and the when the little leaf growths come in they sprout out from the spot where the branches meet the stem...well im starting to get some growths on the other side of the stem...i tried to take a pic but i couldnt get a clear one...its way to early to see if they look like pods or hairs but im seeing some growth coming in that way too...this is such an amazing learning experience...and im really having fun with it...lol

first thing bcseedking only has 1 sativa so chances are yours are all indica

those spotes or discolour you are seeing is nothing more than,well nothing IMO..
you have to stop mothering them so much,you will kill with kindess..
"tips" is right about the fert.. i am playing with a couple of mine and i gave them full strenght at about 6 days old,no burn,nothing,will appear in journal

also i use promix soiless yes all organic,it lets lots of oxengy be in soil
instead of sufficatingthe roots

i notice your soil is not evenly moist ,before you sow you should make sure you evenly moisten your soil.

some of your plants look great but some well not so great[hate it when people say oh looks great there doing so well]

dont worry to much about top growth atm,they are growing roots
they will also grow a lit slower because of 12/12..
i thought your pots where bigger than 3l. they look bigger
peeps plant in smaller cups to start for this reason and easier not to over/under waterand better control on ferts
there is a journal at another site that i am on that is growing 12/12 in 1/2 pop can
the plant looks amazing bud about the size of a nicle,about 1 month old

i just wanna let u know that i dont see ur post as bashing on me at all! i really appreciate the honest assessment of how my grow is doing...i mean...its so great to get all the positive feedback and support...but its great to have someone also give constructive criticism as well. my soil has organic nutes in it...i wish i had written down the info that was on the bag...and i know my soil isnt evenly moist because i havent gotten myself a little watering can...right now im just pouring out of a cup (yep i know...i need to stop doing that)...but im really happy with how they're coming...im only keeping 4 or 5 of the best ones if i happen to get more girls...so if they all dont turn out great then its not a big problem at all...this is more or less meant to be an experiment, a learning experience...getting a feel for growing, im not expecting tons of bud, but i do want to be able to grow quality bud. i think that its going fairly well for my first time ever growing any type of plant...well...unless you count when i grew plants in grade school...lol

so they look really good...i pulled 2 plants out today...one little sprout that was pretty much dead...it was a bad seed...a really light coloured seed with no stripes on it...but i wanted to see what it would do...well...now i know...lol. and i pulled the plant that had the deformities...it hasnt really grown at all in about a week. i also added a bit more soil to the pots...i had a bit left so i just added a bit to each one...i should know the sex of them in less than a week. they're are quite a few new growths that will either be producing hairs or pods...as of right now they REALLY look like hairs...but all the plants starting to show have these little things...and i doubt im lucky enough to get ALL girls...lol but they really do! hahaha ahhh and the smell...mmmm...they smell great

i would have let it live if it was still making progress...but it hadnt grown at all this week...like literally nothing...so i had to pull it...it was very sad...
and the other one was just a sprout...so i wasnt too crushed...lol

just like christmas,you are getting out of the root stage now and entering veg,becarful with your nutes.there is some in soil already
now you have the task of getting them balanced

yeah also while your are first adding nutes make sure that u keep a close eye on the lower fan leaves for signs of burn or deficency
