I have found that unless you open your mouth to others, show of on ig you can grow a few extra plants here and there. Best of growing too you..

Im not mad bro at all i just have trouble saying that for example u smoke 200g a day in your mind you think anything in that quantity is helping you? I guess im not in your position but i also look at it from the side of i call bs and your just selling 180g a day im guessing thats how any logical thinking person would see it too tbh. Now if they change it so you can sell it which they have with regulations so dbags dont kill people why not just get a cultivers license? I know we all hate rules im glad we've come this far but if your selling it your the problem not the guy with 25 plants.

People don't have to smoke. Concentrate's, cooking, (waste) .

The point is that this is a plant count that allows for one, to be able to have various mother plants, different stages of plants, and to be able to produce enough for ones needs.

Also that just a 111 gram a day License 555÷5 my bad.

I saw so much talk in this thread just had to drop in and say hello, all this talk from people that know what others do in their lives (: :blsmoke: :rolleyes:
 
My problem is that my wife and I have been thinking of retired elsewhere in Canada, yet I have built up over the past couple years over a kilogram of "Frenchy-style temple balls". As I understand it, I can only transport 7 grams at a time to my new residence 1800 km away? LMAO

You can transport 150 grams(legal). This falls under recreational system plus your carry wait for a months supply.

Possession limits for cannabis products
The possession limits in the Cannabis Act are based on dried cannabis. Equivalents were developed for other cannabis products to identify what their possession limit would be.

One (1) gram of dried cannabis is equal to:
  • 5 grams of fresh cannabis
  • 15 grams of edible product
  • 70 grams of liquid product
  • 0.25 grams of concentrates (solid or liquid)
  • 1 cannabis plant seed
We are only allowed to have 30 grams of flower in possession outside of our residence.

I was thinking about a person's month supply with a higher count.

You are correct.
The MMAR rules still apply to those that have them.

The thread is Mainly about medical Laws. I segway the legal part because this now i Canada after 2018 there is a legal market that made a total plant count wait more. (For people with acmpr's mmar's) .

I apologize for that, considering I'm on the medical section. TBH at this point in Canada's recreational laws, I really don't have much of an issue because I can grow what I want for the purpose and for myself I don't need an ACMPR. Actually this started way back in 1976 when I was first caught with plants. They took me into the clinic, and a psychologist diagnosed that I was "self-medicating"! LMAO

My original question though was about transport. Let's just say you had 1 to 2 or perhaps 4 kg of hash at home. So you want to move. What do you do? (Edit again: in legal terms?)

You are moving your residence. Your hash is in your residence, as it moves.

Yes and no.

The discussion is about the "concerning" number of high plant count prescriptions and how they could be feeding the black market. But anyone can feed the black market, even rec growers, in fact I'd say more people know rec growers than they do medical growers, and many rec growers I bet aren't sticking with the storage limits. And with the "gifting" option, how many rec growers do you think are twisting that to work for them?

One of my points was that as long as it's legal recreationally, they make it difficult on themselves to prove that you are growing illegally, whether carrying on with an expired license, or just saying f**k the 4 plant limit. I know a couple people that just went "well, it's legal now" and popped up grows with several hundred plants each.

But they have become intertwined both in this convo and in reality.

It's to easy to get the plant numbers you want on a script. I would just pony up the dough and increase our plant count. With that said, it's legal, you're not going to get a swat team kicking through your door if your not under investigation for selling cannabis illegally. Even if you do get a knock, say for a smell complaint, you just don't answer the door or tell them your in the middle of something and they will have to come back. In that time frame either move your extra plants or toss them in the trash. You could be a complete asshole and tell them to F-off if they don't have a warrant but I advise to just be polite and respectful. Most cops are dicks but that doesn't mean you have to be.

I had a friend with a 463 plant license. He got the knock for a smell complaint. He's 100% compliant, answered the door, cops said there was a smell complaint, he said he already changed his filter recently, cops said they agree and they dont smell anything but asked if it was ok if they took a look. My friend said not today, he's to busy and to come back... cops took his number and arranged a walk through. Now my friend is being nice and granting this request. Funny thing was the cops came back 5 days later, did a quick plant count, did not ask to see anywhere else in the house, make any comments towards building code/electrical/plumbing etc and left. Entire walk through took ten minutes and since then no letter in the mail, no follow ups, nothing.

You move... if you can prove you are in the middle of a move, say you get pulled over driving a U-Haul with all your furniture in it, no cop is going to waste their time digging into your business if you have your license with you, which you always should if carrying medicine. At the end of the day, cop pulls you over, just don't tell him you've got 4kg of hash in the U-Haul... you should be fine.

Yup legalization changed the game. You get that knock on the door, you're 100% compliant, you can answer the door with a huge fatty hanging out of your mouth, puffing smoking in the cops presence. Literally just tell the cops, sorry, my shit is cured to perfection and that's why it stinks. I'm gonna swap my filters and throw a block of Ona gel downstairs and call it a day... anything else I can help you with officer?

Smell complaints are a city bylaw issue now, not police issue. At least here in BC.

Even being licensed, legal and compliant, I went and got myself a dedicated drying tent with a carbon filter and fan setup. 5 tents, 3 of them flowering, one drying and one mom tent and you can't smell a thing in my house unless I open a jar or puff one.

Even if all of what you and I and others have posted about the law part of this is ignored, there is still the concern of being robbed as well. A kg or two of bud about to be chopped or just chopped is a temptation for thieves.

Just keep it quiet and as smell free as possible, and you shouldn't have these issues.
