Ec range?

So upon loads reading and still not fully understanding,
here is where i am starting with my feeds and ended my last grow at around 1.6-1.8 The max it went to.

Am i ok with those as guides thanks any help be great
 
Personally I finish by tapering off my nutrients to finish at half the strength I was during the height of flowering.
Usually I’m around 1.2-1.4 at the height of flowering and finish around 0.8.

My range stops at 1.6 max and great EC meter I have one too. Lasted me 10 years so far.

My source water EC is 0.2.

so I add additional Calmag to 0.4EC then my base nutes to between 0.6-1.6(max)

very rarely do I exceed 1.4EC which when you take into account my source water is 0.2 and my Calmag is 0.2. My base nutes only account for 1.0EC at my max strength.
 
I havnt really measured like that....

Then base nutes im gona do that next time i fill my bucket up to fill and i will get back to you

yeah do it as it’s nice to know what you’re working with.

my source water hasn’t changed in 11 years.

personally I always fill with source water.

Add Calmag

Add base nutes

mix and wait for 10mins.

test EC and then adjust ph.

then water.
 
I have be just adding
15ml cal mag, dutch pro
50ml of a+b, dutch pro
10ml flower burst, buddha tree
3ml keep it clean, dutch pro
30 ltrs water amd get to 1.4
 
In 25Litres I add

12.5ml Plant magic MagneCal
50ml Dutch Pro A/B

gets me to 1.0 I think lol.

ill test tonight as I’ve gotta fill my water container and mix and water in about 3 hours. Once kids have fallen asleep.

But this was 2 days ago and feeding every other day.

these are 3 seeds 5 plants.

Guy in shop sold me it haha, so im wasting my time with that.....
Thanks il leave that out he gave me multi total aswell that i use every 2 weeks at 1ml ltr

Take root I use during veg.

Multi total is ok but I don’t notice a difference using it versus not using it in coco.

Explode
I’ve made my own PK booster of MKP 14g dissolved into 100ml of water add at 1ml per litre around week 5 of flower. Increases EC by around 0.1-0.2 per at 1ml/1L.

MKP cost me mr £4 for 100g of dry fert and it’s around 0-30-50 or something near there can’t remember exactly.

will only be used for 1 week of flower and then just back to base nutes.

I used to use explode at 0.5ml per litre until I see swelling begin (you know when buds are starting to look like buds instead of just pistils) then I would up it to 1ml per litre around week 6 then back off completely
 
Im gona take note off it all tomorrow as im adding it amd see what its all adding, what e.c woukd you suggest for week 3 of flower
 
Also I generally do around 5-6 weeks veg and training and then flower for between 10-12 weeks on most strains I like.

2 week transition then around 9 or 10 weeks to get where I like them and I don’t really exceed 1.6EC.
 
So here goes 40ltr mix
My tap water is 0.4
Cal-mag 0.5ml per ltr takes to 0.6
Explode 1ml per ltr and its still on 0.6?
60ml each of a&b takes to 1.2

Yeah I’ve found explode doesn’t really add any EC which is another reason why I’ve began making my own especially with the cost of explode.

I didn’t water yesterday but I am tonight so I’ll monitor what I’m adding in and report back to you later.

but like I said I also only use the hydro coco grow A/B formula as my base nutrient.

Ouch mine reads 2.0 in day 60. I only flush for 1-2 days 3 15 minute feedings on an ebb and flow. I’m still learning the ec. My meter is crap. More of a ppm meter. Doesn’t read 2.0 but 2013
