Hey everyone
It’s my first grow and was looking for some help with the topic of defoliating Autoflowers. Iam start of week 3 so will wait I assume. But I hear that defoliate autos is bad due to short veg ? And any advice on when I LST what about the leaves that touch each other or the ground since I heard both of those situations are not good ? Any help Wud be appreciated

Yeah never defoliate an auto.

On a serious note, it's probably best to leave the plant alone as much as possible as a new grower. Any leaves that will stay in contact with with medium should be removed after your LSTing. Good luck.

If you absolutely must remove leaves do not remove more than 1 per day. You can slow down the plants progress by doing too much at once and that's a disaster for auto yield

No fuck no hell no.

I wouldn't lol

Low stress train is absolutely the way to go.

If there is a place not to fuck up it is absolutely during veg with an auto.

You have a finate period of time for veg. Slow that down and you screw yourself bad.

so how do I know when veg is over by keeping a close eye onit? For example a 9-10 week auto how long will it veg

Oops. already topped my Wedding Cheesecake. It is tempting to defoliate as well but so far I've only removed 2 leaves that were touching the soil. It was very gently LST'd. She looks to have six good colas and a few little suckers underneath.

Doing less feels good. Advantage to autoflower. The ruderalis in it seems to keep it going strong despite the low pH from the peat moss so that may be another advantage to autos. This one is hardy.
