Seeds on buds at bottom of the plant

Hello, so I ordered 8 regular Stitch's Love Potion autoflower seeds and only 1 germinated. It showed to be a female and it flowered nicely yet it went through pests problems at the end of flowering and I cut it 1 week before I had programmed for that reason, then I manicured the buds and they look perfect now and they smell great. So I left some popcorn buds at the base that were not quite done, and I had just cut one and found 2 seeds!
The rest of the crop doesn't have seeds at all, there might be more seeds in the other popcorn buds I haven't cut yet. Is this hermaphrodism due to pest stress?

But I actually feel tempted to sow these seeds. Would they produce hermies? I actually have no problem isolating the plant if it does.

Any pics of the plant pre chop?

That totally depends on what you mean by hermie.

If it threw nanners (bananas sticking out of the buds) not only will they be viable to sow without it happening again without the stresses but they will be female as well.

If it was a true hermi (buds and balls) then I wouldn't use those seeds as they will be more prone to producing hermie traits.

Not guaranteed that it absolutely will grow a hermie. Just more likely to do so.

Nanners can be really hard to see tbh. Sometimes they just flat out hide. Many of them come up sterile or with a tiny amount of pollen. That could be the culprit.

But knowing its a balcony grow unfortunately allows for possibly of someone else's plant being a true herm and pollinated your plant.

With that possibly I personally wouldn't use those seeds.

Check below. I never saw a sign of hermaphroditism, and I have inspected the buds and found no bananas and no sign of pollen whatsoever. I can't see seeds on the remaining popcorn buds either, and I had no male. I was growing in the balcony though.
Nice plant from balcony need to say. Probably threw nanners because of the street light... wiz have a small gift for you

I think is def a hermie, and I have just found more seeds at the base of the nugs, it doesnt have lots of them though, so is the smoke still gonna be good? Or thc lower or what? So now that we have confirmed will the seeds produce hermies or they can still produce male and female? Check the pic

A few seeds won't hurt much of anything. Your smoke will be fine. Just annoying to have to sift through to not smoke seeds.

Where there's a monkey there are bananas. Those are what seeded your weed.

Good news they are viable female seeds.

Don't stress these when you pop them. Enjoy.

Lol, the monkey, yes! It seems only bottom of lower buds got the seeds. So can I expect the rest to be a decent smoke? How come those are viable female seeds?
Re read post #2

Your smoke will be fine.

Did you have fans going in the tent?

There's also the possibility that your outdoor plants can get pollinated by someone else's male. A lot of indoor growers stick males outside so they can either get pollen, or else chop it up without the risk of pollinating their indoor plants. Add to that all the new growers from the spread of legalization, plus the pandemic, and there were a lot of males growing outdoors this year that didn't get chopped.
My plants got a light dusting of pollen this year, found a total of 60 seeds across 3 large plants, all in the ground. I'm testing them out and the first was a full male. I'm hoping it was someone's rec grow, not hemp or CBD.
