I have autos in ffof and was told to wait for 20-40 days to when this soil runs out of organic nute then to start giving my own as per feed chart but at 1/4 the dose and work up in strength. Can anyone give some pointers on the signs to look for in my plants to tell me it’s time to feed nuts for its organic so ppm values are all over Of anyone even has pointers or even pics to help out a rookie grower I Wud be appreciative

I’m still a rookie myself, but i have a girl in Happy Frog right now. Typically the bottom leaves will start turning yellow, that’s when I start feeding. I could be off cause I’ve never grown autos. But that’s the sign I used for this photo.

Most likely the first issue you will run into will be a calcium deficiency. Watch for brown spots on the big fan leaves. Watch for any changes besides size in the bigger leaves. Those are usually the leaves that tell you what's wrong.

If a bag of FFOF is well buffered and has good fertility and is properly watered the 1st symptom is likely to be low nitrogen.
Second deficiency that may show up is likely to be magnesium.
If spots show up on mid level fan leaves it is likely a bag that was not well buffered and needs lime or the grower messed up by using PH down and caused a lockout that will look like a calcium deficiency.

The key is proper watering to grow happy plants in ffof.

With proper watering a plant can be given water only for several weeks.

I would usually feed a balanced organic fertilizer at the flip to 12/12 along with earth worm castings and if I felt the soil PH was dropping to low I would add lime.

This plant in ffof was given its first feeding about a week before this picture.
