THC protects from ultraviolet light, so it should be included in the "sunscreen resin". Could you link to the posts?I can not confirm this, because I haven't actually done it! But I have read "very credible posters" who claim to have had noticible improvements in resin production with only about 20-30 minutes of UV-b light exposure per light cycle. Others have run the UV-b lights for the full 12 hour cycle and get, roughly, the same results.
Now, this being said, this additional resin doesn't neccessarily make the bud more potant! Appearantly the "extra frosting" is just some sort of "Sunscreen Resin" that doesn't boost the THC content that much. I have never come across any "Scientific" explaination for this, so I take it all with a grain of salt!
Sorry, I can't give you a link, I don't remember where I came across that (it was well over a year ago).THC protects from ultraviolet light, so it should be included in the "sunscreen resin". Could you link to the posts?
Sorry if I seem like an old "Stick in the mud", but I don't rely on YouTube a whole lot for hard research. Besides that, my Sound Card is acting up and I have my speakers disconnected - so I didn't really see the video yet. The following clip is something I took from the Erowid website:Here is an interesting video on you tube. I think it may clear up some things with good explanations.
I also get a kick out of this guy. hehehehe
