When to lower light

In each flowering set up yes just 1 plant. I'm a real lazy grower. I set up a passive veg tent, grow them to a decent size, very cheaply, in 3 gallon coco perlite hempy buckets... These have a few weeks to go... Then just flip them when the other flowering plants finish. They go straight into 12/12 from this tent. The big led plant I'm growing is a lemon skunk, so mostly sativa. She will grow at least 4 times bigger than when she was flipped.

Lemon skunk mother plant right. 2 that were transplanted into hempys last night, left. They are tangie clones. I have 1 uk cheese mother, 1 lemon skunk mother and 3 tangerine dream mothers in total at one time. Then just clone and start a new mother.

Here is the smaller veg tent. 200w passive air also, so just leave the door open.

That may work for you but isn’t going to work for most. So your advice doesn’t really help the OP much. Are all of you guys here just to show off your grow?? FFS

Yes. 30% perlite 70% coco, pre mixed and pre-charged. Small hole about 2-3 inches from the bottom of each bucket, just perlite in the lower 3inches. So easy to grow.

The lemon skunk plant is in a 20 litre air pot though. Everything else in hempys with coco-perlite.

No mate. The op has my advice. Let them stretch up. Pictures are good examples and seen as I'm growing the way he should for the next few weeks, I was trying to make the point that raising the lights would be a great idea and used photo's.

But who is growing one plant per tent? Your advice and style is great for your grow and powerful light. Not everyone has that.

Turn it on 100% and leave it 24” from the plants. They should stretch into it. Just make sure they don’t get any closer than 18”. If you see light stress signs then raise it up a little.

I have 2 lights but only one on at 24 inches 100 % power. I was told to lower to 18 at flower and put n 2nd light at that time. IAM just curious when “that time” is.

Put them both in. Put them both on 100% and set them at 24”. If you see signs of light stress raise them

try and get all four plants “tops” at the same height. Sometimes I use things under the pots if the plants aren’t all the same height. Yours looks pretty even.

You’re fine to crank them up IMO. Just leave them at the correct height. That’s a guideline. Adjust as needed. So crank it up! I say 24” and let them stretch into it. If they don’t stretch into all the way to 18” (your final goal height) then lower them

general rule is 18 inches but your particular light will have manufactures suggestions and I would us those.

If you have pistols that puts you at least a week into flower. It time for Bloom light. Whats you light schedule? 20/4 ?

There low and bushy cuz I LST those bitches almost on there backs. Lol. Maybe too much
I'm growing my first Autos too. Have you seen my grow? I don't plan to do anything but just pulling out outer branches from main stem. Autos won't put up with much. They just don't have time to recover like Photoperiods. I had fun on my first grow with those. I got to super crop and learned a lot about LST on them too. I'll be concentrating on brewing teas and proper watering for this grow of autos.

I agree with HydroKid. Keep the light at 18" the whole grow, with any stretchy tops no closer than 12" and turned toward the outside. I use a TSW which is basically same light as yours but square. I keep that bitch pretty close.
