Well water ppm?

I have been using RO drinking water from
Store. Today my ph pen came in along with a ppm meter. I decided to check my well/sink water and it came out at 171. Is this okay to use? Or should I stick to RO?

Mine is 130ppm it's been working fine. Got it tested through city for $4 results came back good. Only concern was Nitrate was 9.8 and 10 is max for acceptable drinking water. Well was built in mid-late 1800's.

I will be taking it down Monday to get tested and see what’s in it. Was just curious about the ppm level since RO is 0. Would be nice not having to haul water back and forth.

The deal with RO verses the well. You have no control over how much minerals are in the well water. With RO, you have full control over the amount of minerals.

i went from hauling RO to half well/half RO to finally all well. the 1/2 and 1/2 is not a bad idea especially for seedlings.
