ppm is around 40 and ph varies i water in between 6.3 and 6.8
this grow im shooting for organics. i just top dressed the plants with gaia greens 2-8-4 and was gonna see if that will hold these autos off until buds are ripened. im in preflower stretch now. have you had any experience with gaia greens fertilizers? heres a pic for ya
Now those look good. I’m not familiar with the strain, so the color may be fine... but have you over fed at any point to burn the leaf tops slightly yet? Or are you doing this organic wit pre-fed pellets or granular shit? Lol sorry I use bottled nutes lol I don’t mean to sound rude.

what is EWC?
i gave only one plant the amount to gaia that was listed in the directions and the others smaller amounts just to kind of play around with the stuff to see what works best. the gaia should hopefully take care of it if its a calcium deficiency it contains gypsum which has calcium. idk if it has enough to do the job but im sure ill find out here soon enough.
honestly im hoping it wont take to long to start working. i let the soil get damn near bone dry then gave it a slow good water to let the fertilizer inoculate into the soil
when you asked the ph i thought you meant ph of the water after i put ph solution in it lol sorry. straight out of the well its like 5.6 5.7

EWC stands for Earth Worm Castings.

If you're trying to do a purely organic soil, don't let it get bone dry.

So your well water is at 5.6 and you're adding chemicals to adjust the pH? What are you using to raise it?

The more information you can give us, the better answers everyone can give.

2 are auto blackberry kush from dutch passion and the other 2 are auto tangerine i got as free seed from seed city. but no haven't burnt any tips yet from nutes but i did get lazy and didn't raise my light up and had some yellowing tips on new growth from that.
i dont thank gaia green is a granular if im not mistaken. just looks like sand and dust tbh. im just mixing it into the top layer of soil then watering it in.
hahaha no offence taken

wow im about dumb as fuck... i guess my grow isnt 100 percent organic if im using (ph up and down) :( i feel like the world biggest idiot right now. i try not to let it bone dry because of microbes.. and yeah i know ph solutions can kill alot of them' like i said still trying to get the hang of this whole thing

so how would i go about phing organically?

Don't feel dumb, we all were newbies at one point. If you have good soil, it will buffer itself for the most part if you're doing organics. I wouldn't use the chemical pH stuff anymore if it was me though since you're doing organics.

EWC and good compost are a must for organics.

You'd also probably get more appropriate responses if you posted this in the Organics section. In Newbie Central we don't know how you're trying to grow.

Your soil should buffer it for the most part so I wouldn't worry much. You could use oyster shell flour to slowly raise soil pH if you need to. And with that kinda water it might be a good idea to add some Ca based amendments. I wish I had that issue. My well water has more Ca than I need.

Silica will raise the water pH too.

You can use lemon or vinegar for PH down. You can use baking soda for PH up. You could also use Earth Juice Organic PH up or down.
Earth Juice pH down is citric acid. Earth Juice pH up uses potassium bicarbonate. Potassium bicarbonate is different than baking soda, which is sodium bicarbonate. We don't want the extra sodium in our soil really.

Fussy fussy, ok I bow out to the organic growers. I use Chernobyl style. Although I will stick with lemon or vinegar for PH down. You can use baking soda for PH up as that feels fine.

Nourish the soil w/
-500-700ppm hit of fish hydrolase
-maybe a compost tea with some slow release goodies mixed in

imo both gentle, make a lite tea just for the microbes...

work with your wells Ph. sometimes not adjusting and giving it to them straight, and then sometimes raising the ph with kelp, then sometimes putting your compost tea or feed in and letting that manipulate the waters PH etc...

The thing with your soft well water at 40ppm
Is that it might have a low ph due to the Hcarbon it’s likely absorbed but it’s also likely unstable, does it take you just a little bit of PH up to change the ph of your solution? If so then you can use this to your benefit and even tho your water reads at 5.6, bc it’s not stable, when you put it into something that is at a ph of 6.1-6.5 like soil etc then it will become that ph rather than influence that ph to go lower etc. if that makes sense.
This happens if I leave my ro out or if you leave distilled water out, it starts at 7 but drops due to atmospheric Hcarbon absorption. But it doesn’t have a high ppm or high alkalinity so the ph can swing easy.
Idk just food for thought

thank you guys!!! so i gave the plants alittle time to see if the 2-8-4 would help at all and the plants seem to be loving it so far they shot up about 5 inches since i made this post. as far as the deficiency goes im 100 percent sure its calcium AND magnesium at this point. i thought the gypsum in the gaia would handle the calcium def but it seems like these girls want more so i bought some stuff called azomite by down to earth ill be adding that in tommorrow
