Ready to go under hps???

Hi guys. These are 2 weeks old now. Currently have them under 2 t5 tube lights. Due you think they are ready to go under the big one. If so I have a dimmable ballast and have been told to start under 250w for a week then up to 400w for a week then 600w??

Any info would be much appreciated

Even the dual spectrum bulbs are no good for veg. OP you need MH pal.

Just to also add that if you use a dimmable ballast and dim down a 600w/400w bulb to 250w etc it wipes out the spectrum.

What's funny right where? Look at this pic the hps is dual spectrum it don't have nowhere near enough blue which is the issue normal HPS bulbs have.
You can see in my other post the graph of the MH bulb has much more blue light. If you don't know don't comment mate.

Maybe tell that to the millions who run HPS throughout the grow. Telling someone they NEED MH is ridiculous.

Are you for real? This is pretty standard basic knowledge and has been for years and years. Yh can do a full grow with either light it doesn't make it ideal. What is ideal is MH for veg and HPS for flower. And don't dim any bulbs if you want to keep the spectrum change to correct bulb for the wattage set.

Thanks for the info. I've got myself a 400w MH for veg and I'll keep the 600w hps for flower. Put them under 2 days ago and they seem to be loving it
