Do I need to have the fan?

So I’ve got a 4x4 tent and plan on having 4 seedlings in. Then when they get bigger I will be getting rid of the weakest.
I’ll only be running my hps at 250w at that stage until mid veg when I’ll be upping to 400 then 600 at flip.
If I open up the tent daily do I NEED to have the inline fan on (I’ll be running a small fan for air movement all the time) or will there be enough co2 in the tent for the size of the plants.
I’m just trying to cut down on running costs but if I need the fan in for air circulation then I’ll just have it on but just wanted to check

You absolutely need both a vent fan and fans for air circulation.
Not a problem at all.
Just wasn’t sure as it’s cold her at the min so the temp won’t be a problem and thought maybe they’ll be tiny there would be enough Co2 in the tent until later on.
But that’s cool, I’ll have the fan on as soon as they’re in the tent

I’m right is thinking I can just have the oscillating fan point to a corner and it’ll do it’s job or should I have it actually oscillating?
Air movement is the goal. You may be able to get away with it stationary but you probably want it oscillating. Make sure it's more over the canopy and not just blasting straight on the plants 24/7 or anything.

That’s cool I’ll set it to oscillate
Using a desk type fan so will need to figure out a way to keep raising it so it’s above the canopy somehow
