I have some gals in veg all are about 55cm
Can i top all the branches or just the main one
You want to top your main stems only. Topping as it's referred to is you forcing the plant to "split" its main stem into multiple main stems with equal vigor and growth. if you top the side growth your just sending the auxin in the plant back to the top of your plant

Here’s the thing. We don’t have a pic of how your plants look. If we saw how they look, we could give better advice. Here is how my plant looks and I topped every top on it. I topped to make the canopy even. If your plants are just growing and only have 1 main stem, just top that one main stem however far down you want. If you want more of a bushy plant, top it down about 2-3 inches above the top of the rest of the canopy. Hope this helps! Good luck.

Ok nice, you can top the main center stem down to the canopy level to even things out. It’ll cause the apical meristem to change to all of the other branches. It’ll increase growth of the other branches while you start seeing new growth in the topped node about 3-5 days after topping. You’ll also notice knuckles forming on all side branches as the growth hormones are routed to the other branches. That’ll look something like this. I know it’s just a pic of my branch structure. But if you examine where the branch splits off in the center, you’ll see a nice swollen section where it split off and created 2 leading apical meristems. 9C6149BA-BE9E-4694-B2CA-FC75B203103B.jpeg

Yeah i see that good info iv got an auto going at the moment but this was grown from seed so when small lst was applyed.
With the otheres being monster crop the side branches are all over the place no real evenness i may chop the tops and tie side branches down or chuck a net over
