Yeah just be careful not to cut too many. Those fan leaves are the lungs of the plant, breathing in Co2 and out Oxygen; vital to a healthy plant. A few here an there will suffice.

Yeah that's right, no nutes until about two weeks ago, then we started using Fox Farm Tiger Bloom 2-8-4, and Technaflora MagiCal 2-0-0. We have also started using some 0-49-32 but we have only watered once with that.

is fox farms that good? because it seems like everyone in this forum grows with that shit. my mom grows regular plants and she uses this bloom shit for flowering and its like 0-49-5 i know its something really big in the middle but is fox farms the shit or what?

Fox Farm makes several different nutes for different things as well as soils. It depends on what you are trying to do. Most people use it because it is a quality product. It uses earthworm castings and bat guano for nutrition, Norwegian kelp to help improve the nutrient uptake and increase yield, and rock phosphate to help transfer energy within the plant. It is full of vitamins, natural growth hormones, enzymes, amino acids and beneficial organic microbes.

but don't think we're sucking the big FF dick.... we're also using some technaflora, plant life products, and other various brands. I don't buy into brand loyalty. I'll try anything at least once, and if it works, obviously I'll use it. Next season I'm wanting to make compost teas and harvest some worm castings. it's all about the DIY.
