Yoyoooo i've been wondering if i can start off photoperiods under a 12/12 for a month or so while i finish off a couple plants, then switch to a 18/6 to actually veg them out?? Since you can light manipulate photos i should be good right??

no. they will start to flower immediately. you will start seeing pistils within that month. if you switch back to 18/6 they will reveg but its not going to work out like you hope. you will have stressed out the plants.

if you are stuck and need to start them at 12/12 I would just let them finish that way. they won't be huge but it will be a better result. you could then harvest and reveg those to save the genetics if you wanted to keep them. (but personally then I would take clones from those and veg and flower the clones if I went this route).

all said and done you are better off just waiting for a month and starting them under 18/6.

you really don't need a ton of light for the first stages anyway so you could pop the seeds in a couple weeks and just start them under a cfl or cheap led setup at first.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa i need to learn how to clone. I wanted to try with these first one's but ima nervous mf lol

I believe in you ;)

seriously its way easier than it seems. def takes some trial and error but you will have a clone army in no time!

If they are from seed you will be fine
It takes about 6 -8 weeks for a plant to get mature enough to flower

What will happen is it will reduce your veg build-up but it can work :bigjoint:

I was honestly thinking that. Took me a about a month to spot male parts so i should b good :)
