just wanted to follow up~ i just decided to with the traditional route and run co2 from pressured tanks~ I just dont think the PPM's will be where i want them to be with the citric acid generator. thank everyone!

tnb narutals advertises for a 12x12 room, or a 6x6, so one in a 4x4 area should help out, I'm trying this now. Only vent after lights out. Plants can take higher temps with co2 so thar helps with cooling issues, no vent 85 to 90 in my tent with humidity around 80 to 85 percent, with lights on, temp drops to 70s with 35 to 55 rh at night, vent until hour or so before lights come on. This is how I'm using co2 for first time. Tried yeast and sugar, baking soda and vinegar, they burn out too quick for my liking. So far tnb has been the only thing that made a noticeable difference. I would love to find a recipe for diy bags, using tnb naturals and they seem to work well. Using homemade 2 ltr. Pop bottles with sugar and yeast too. Maybe a longer lasting yeast by chance?

My year of trying to get easy c02 ended in a 19 litre container (water cooler bottle) that can last up to 2 weeks and i can go anywhere between 800 - 1800ppm in a tent. Small bottles made for a lot more work as they convert to alcahol fairly swifttly and then it's diminishing returns for your sugar/yeast routine. My 19 litre is a bitch to move around but it's a weekly or fortnightly change out so it's managable. Definitely go with a bigger water reservoir if you want long runs and less change overs, the big vessel/bottle always wins for me.

those TnB 2 liter bottles are just a scam make your own for about 25 cents its just sugar with a little yeast. just make your own, but they hardly put off any C02

Agree the tnb only produces for 3 or 4 days, l tested 6 bottles all crap. In homemade sugar yeast acid combo, do you guys use OJ or ketchup in your generator? It burns hotter with the acidity. More co2 faster. In my 4x4 i use 5 2ltr generators on top of light, with water bottles for filters. No idea of co2 level but girls are loving it. Cheap and visual when needs recharge. Am looking for big bottle now, ty.

For my 4x4 tent I I bought a c02 controller (used) and hooked it up to my sugar and yeast setup i'd been tweeking for a while. Using an air stone with a tiny pump that gets activated when my co2 dips below my set ppm. The the controller at 150 bucks was the most expensive bit. I use 19 litre containers as the amount of water that turns to alcahol over a a week is manageable (weekly changeovers). In an environment of 24c i can put the ppm up to 1500 or keep down at 800 or whatever without much fuss. I use two 1kg bags of sugar and 8 little yeast sachets (depending on what levels your looking for). It costs me £1.90 a week (UK pounds) to run and about £170 to put it together.

Since my post quoted above i've sized down to a propogator and ditched my tent but still using c02 for flowering phase, and it's a fair bit easier in a prop

i use an inkbird co2 controller, works great for my tent, was about $130
