“Odd” leaves on seedling. Bodhi - sunshine daydream

So I have a few harvests under my belt but only 1 out of 7 of my @Bodhi actually germinated so I’m
making sure this one does well. They were sunshine daydream seeds too so I’m kinda upset. Have always had nothing but good things to say about bodhi. Bodhi and in-house are my guys right now, wonder if they’d help me out at all.

My seedlings soil is just happy frog with extra perlite, and will be moved into buildasoils coots mix.

Ya it’s weird, like when I first started growing and I was still like a kid I’d just toss seeds in moist paper towel and like 90% would germinate. Have you tried using like sandpaper on the outside of the seed before?

I haven’t needed to do that yet, they pop open but don’t always have the tap root come out, or it comes out 1mm and then dies

If only one germinated you’re doing something poorly. Those are good genetics. Stick with bagseed until you get a better feel for this.

In OPs defense SSDD is what? 6 years old now? If the seeds weren't stored properly there could definitely be issues. Ive dropped 48 seeds the past month and they've all germed except an entire pack of Sour LSD from BOG. I know BOGs beans are good genetics, but I bought old stock and have to assume they were mishandled at some point

As for what I think is a question about an odd leaf presentation.... pics would help

The sunshine daydream that you popped, is it still around? I'm inquiring because it helps with my migraines immensely. I'm curious if there was a possibility if you have any clones? They sell a kit for seed germination that's capable of popping a 10,000 year old seed. Monstergarden carries it. It was used on a seed They found in a squirrels stomach in the permafrost that was over 10k years old. Wild stuff. Seeds not only germinate but they do so with twice the strength & growth♡.
