Same problem i had.In plastic you can just pore it in and it will water evenly ,but with these it wants to pore out the sides and takes twice as long to water.
I figured, id start going around the stem, and keep going around and out slowly, let it work its way through slowly, I get very little run off. 5 maybe 10 ml. The sides dry out too fast though.
What dirt do you use when you grow soil?
Right now, ffhf because that's the best the store had at the time. It's been working good though.
Yeah i’ve got some 12 1/2 gallon buckets that i use when growing soil.They fit about one bag of Ocean Forest perfect.
You grow organic or you use bottled nutes?
I usually mix half ocean forest and half Happy Frog , but last time i went to the store.They didn’t have the happy frog so i gave the coco loco a try it worked really well to.
Both if i’m growing something special for myself i always grow organic!
I hear ffof is hot for young plants. I just top dress the happy frog and they seem to like it.
Last year i tried some old soil out of a compost pile ,and i have a huge pile of Fox Farm that i’ve used over the years.I built a big bomb fire and burned it all.Got some chicken manure and horse manure a couple big bags of perlite. It grew better than anything i’ve ever used with all that ash in it the fire sterilized it so no bugs or weed seeds.I’m thinking of doing that again this year it worked great inside and out.
And i added a few bags of worm castings to.

Yeah i live a little bit out in the country.I’ve got a small farm 256 acres ,and i built my house right in the middle of it so no neighbors for at least a mile in every direction. Got me 3 pitts that guard the place. I love it out in the country.

I lived in the city for a few years and i was miserable having neighbors all around me!Hell if i want to go take a piss out my front door.I want to be able to do it! I just never felt like a free man living in the city!!!
I'm not in the city, but I'm in the suburbs. In this case, it's just as bad. Hoa and neighbors make growing a PITA.

I didn’t notice your avi. I’ve seen Ozzy like 5 times. I used to go to his concerts every time he came close. I seen him in Cincinnati Ohio twice ,Nashville Tennessee , Columbus Ohio,Louisville Kentucky. He is great i seen him just 3 or 4 years ago. I thought man i’m not expecting much he’s getting old. Shit bro he came out and he was Ozzy put on a hell of a show!!!
I've been going to his shows for years. Ozzfest 97 at alpine valley was my favorite. My ex took me to see black sabbath for their "the end" tour at mgm grand 4 years ago. Ozzy never gets old! Lol
